I've bet many fights before and dont lose many at all. recently had Saildo +500 and Porter +500 Danny Garcia +225

I dont think i've ever bet a favorite. never worth the money, oddsmakers really dont know how to handicap Boxing, hence why u have odds to wear u can take the casinos fat!! I mean Lomo had 1 fight and hes -700??? gimme a break. Devon Alexander is solid but -700 against Porter lost your damn mind! Pacquiao an underdog against DLH who had not fought at WW since like 98,99 and some how was gonna beat a young prime fighter with fast hands in Pacquiao???

Anyway. the Casino will make Chavez jr a favorite no doubt!! Not knowing thaty this guy is slower then my grandma whos 80yrs old and uses his face as a punching bag!! THERES NO WAY IN HELL HE'S GONNA BEAT GGG!!! NO WAY!!!

Im thinking Chavez jr -250 to maybe even -350, -400!! so getting a power puncher like GGG at +200 or higher means u can double your money on a damn good fighter and going against a sorry ass fighter.

Biggest bet of my life. anywhere from 1k to 5k on that fight (I think the most i've bet was $600 on Pacquiao against DLH, cleaned up 5k). I have a stash for times like this when u can just cash in because casino's have no damn clue at all when it comes to boxing.

CANT WAIT FOR JULY 19TH, THEN VACATION TIME!!!! :bbb:bbb

Dude your crazy. these casinos dont know a damn thing about GGG! they know Chavez jr, of course he will be the favorite. they also know that p[eople will bet Chavez jr regardless so if u think the casino's are dumb enough to make him an underdog your nuts bro.

They made him -800 or so against Vera who boxed the hell out of Chavez the fight before.

Thats why im gonna clean them up!!

I don't know anyone is going to make Jr a favorite.

If they are, then they know something we don't...like the Mexican drug cartel is involved somehow.

    well good for you.

I dont throw money away, I make it.

Chavez jr is a punching bag and most likely wont win but 1 round against GGG. That guy sucks and will get embrassed like the Martinez fight but will take a worse beating then ever before

I've been betting a long time, of course they will.

They made DLH a favorite of Pacquiao, you would have to be dumb as hell to do that. Devon Alexander was -700 over Porter, who does that :lol:

Lomo had 1 fight and was -700, casino's have no clue at all.

Chavez jr will be a favorite and im bout to make a ton of money.

DAMN GOOD SUMMER COMING UP :D:D

Good examples except Pac, who was a much bigger underdog to DLH with the experts. Still doubt Chavez will be favored, much less wide

    oh he will.

the point for oddsmakers is for them in boxing is to make sure where the money is gonna go. everybody and there mama knows there are gonna be WAY more bets on Chavez jr then GGG. hence why he has to be the favorite, otherwise the casino's can take a massive lost and thats not the way they do it. reason why Garcia was -1400 (that was ridiclous) and Mayweather is always -700 or higher. Meaning your gonna have to lay alot of loot just to make minimal profit.

using my born and rasied Vegas knowledge :good

Golovkin will be a heavy favorite. It might tighten up once the line is released, but nobody in their right mind is favoring Chavez.

I think the idea of the oddsmakers is to provoke equal action on both sides of the line. Making Jr a favorite or close to even money could spell a big loss for the Cascino's.

Even if GGG opens at -300 you can still get good value. Just wait for all the "dummy" money to come in on Jr and by fight night you and the "sharps" can get goods and clean up on GGg.

If you hit big on Cotto against Martinez this will all fall into place for you. It does take guts to put your money.

i think people are putting way too much trust in ggg without ever seeing him fight at 168. he is untested at that weight and it is not guaranteed that he will bring his power up with him.

If he doesn't bring all that power, even worse for Chavez. he'll take a career ending beatdown.
