I think you're mistaken. I do some analysis for oddsmakers, and I am certainly recommending GGG as the favorite. They don't always listen to me, though, as I'm just one piece of their equation, but I know two others recommending GGG as the favorite, too, so it doesn't look good to get Chavez as the favorite. You may be able to get GGG as not a huge favorite, though, but I wouldn't be surprised to see GGG at -500 or maybe even as high as -700, but you might see him as low as -200, if you're lucky, and that would be great value on which to place your money.

    No.
Bookies often get it very, very wrong.
They are going to make Chavez-300.
    Trust me on that. :hey
I have a hunch for these things. :happy
I'm a very successful gambler. :tired
I will put my car, my house, my retirement plan, and my kid's college money on GGG and i will be RICH.

    Eeeeasy money.
    Just watch.

    Don't say i didn't warn you.

No way Chavez Jr will be favorite.

The gambling mexicans might narrow the odds if they bet big on him, but no way in hell is he going to be favorite.

:adminI had no idea the oddsmakers had consultants. Not to pry but they actually pay you in an official capacity?

My money on Chavez. Whether people realize it or not, Jr is the best person GGG has faced as of yet. Chavez is a step up for GGG, not the other way around. GGG will be there to be hit. He won't be on the move like Maravilla. I think GGG is tailor made for Chavez. When you look at Chavez' granite chin. GGG overconfidence, Chavez' power, and the fact that GGG will be there all night, because I'm not sure he knows how to fight any other way.

Chavez by SD, MD or TKO. Book it.

I cant argue with your Opionon. All i know is that Chavez jr blocks punches with his face and maybe has beat 1 good fighter his whole career. the 1 time he stepped up he lost 11 out of 12 rounds. martinez really wasnt on the move, Jr just sucks. so we shall see

I don't see anyway that GGG odds will be any better then -300. But even then it's worth a bet.

He was only a 2-1 underdog vs DLH and there is no way in fck that chaveZ will be favored. No way

Maybe you'll make back the $3,000 you are gonna lose in the Cotto fight.

They know who GGG is, he isn't some unknown quantity. Your examples of Loma and Alexander had good value but if you were to take a poll on here from 'hardcore' fans before their fights they would all have been favorites. One of the few times I saw incredible value was for Andy Ruiz v Joe Hanks which opened at near even, but that only lasted a few hours as the sharps bet on Ruiz and even then we are talking about two unproven fighters. Bookies know enough about boxing that they are comfortable with offering odds.

-There is no way in hell that GGG will be anywhere near even odds-

    Keep dreaming bro.

If you win 90% of your boxing bets you must be a millionaire who is well on his way to breaking that billion dollar mark. There aren't any gamblers in any arena with a 90% rate of success and if there were, the bookies and casinos would black ball them immediately.

In boxing anything can happen....it's a sport that is so unpredictable that most gamblers don't like betting on fights as opposed to sports like Basketball or football.

DLH was the favorite becuase he just came off a very close and competitive fight with Floyd Mayweather and Manny was just a little guy making noise at the lower weight classes. Manny was thought to have a speed advantage but not by much.....DLH has very fast hands. The thought of the fight initially was not well received at all becuase it was considered a mismatch.

I've been right and went against the grain before when the "experts" picked someone I felt wouldn't win....like Miadana vs Broner. I picked Marcos and everyone in here and in the media swore Adrien was going to win.

I looked at the fight in a different way but I wouldn't claim I'm an expert. I just know the sweet science.
