Stopping prime Canelo will launch him into super s****om.
Something nobody could do up to now (or even come close).

OP, please rename this thread "Golovkin's haters thread", so that these guys can keep letting their steam out here. Maybe it could also be made sticky.

He is very, very good 33 years old by any criteria you can think of.

Not many MW achieves as much as GGG. Actually Hopkins might be the last champion who achieved as much. Great champion! Hope he can unify soon. He deserves it.

Maybe you missed the part where Canelo hasn't made 154 since the end of 2013 and is the lineal middleweight champ. :think

It's his choice, as a middleweight, to weigh 160 or below.

He comes into the ring at 170, the dude is no junior middleweight.

Cotto is a junior middleweight and Canelo made him look like 2 divisions smaller.

He has not ever done that.
Canelo has only recently made the move to middleweight and is creating his own Caneloweight division (155-15?) to bide his time and hope that GGG's skills decline and he grows out of middleweight in the mean time. :rofl

so how come ggg wouldn't fight ward but hes more than happy to take on a guy who recently moved to mw but has yet to even fight at the full limit?

because ggg is afraid to lose and runs on risk/reward just like every other fighter even though you guys all claim hes a god and so great....

at least you answered the question though....he has never done it....canelo is a jr mw....and youll be proud to beat him....yet somehow also proud to have ducked ward even though ggg has c hased fights at 168

Canelo would have already had 5 fights at 160 had the world bodies done their job and forbid fighters to re hydrate more than 10 pounds the day of the fight.
