How on earth is he running away?

    Seriously?

All that's happened is that K2 want to negotiate a split instead of accepting a flat fee.

Negotiations will be ongoing, the first of which are due to take place early next month.

Some of you guys are all over the place.

How is wanting a split from the overall revenue ridiculous?

I dont understand the need to worry over Canelo and Oscars bank balance or K2s for that matter, truth is both brought us two mismatches when they should of been fighting each other, this marinate thing could turn on Canelo if he does go up to 160,unlikely Saunders would knock him out but Lemieux might?

Sending out a BS offer is not proof of anything.

Yeah. It's like Pacquiao turning down 40m flat fee when he actually made 150m.

But even worse because the flat fee was offered for 18 months from now. GGG's profile is only going to improve between now and then.

Knowledgeable fans know the offer wasn't sincere.

I think it's harsh to say GG should have fought at SMW by now. But maybe he would have done if he could have gotten the fights he'd wanted earlier.

Realistically, how many more fights can Canelo have at JMW?

Didn't he have to strip naked for Smith?

We know he isn't going to fight Andrade.

He's under enormous pressure to fight GG.

He'll have to move up at some point.

GG can always go to SMW at some point. He may have better options than what Canelo has in the immediate future.

GG may have fought BJS by then.

If he hasn't, why would Oscar risk putting Canelo in with him which could scupper a huge fight with GG afterwards?

BJS is a very dangerous fighter for Canelo. He has lots of ability.

By the time May comes around, Canelo will have been out 8 months. So in my opinion, fighting BJS will be extremely unlikely. You don't fight a guy like that at your first official fight at the weight, not when you've been inactive and you're looking towards fighting a guy like GG afterwards. It wouldnt make sense. It would be too risky.

Oscar will more than likely give him a low level opponent for his first official MW fight.

How realistic do you think that is?

I wouldn't be surprised if he did that.

    I can't help myself.

I miss the old days when I had great, objective debates with people.
