I've often thought he looked sick in fight week or at the start of a fight- Brook, Jacobs, Canelo1 are 3 off the top of my head

I think he's just a bit of a nervous energy type that puts himself under pressure, maybe doesn't get much sleep in the run up to fights and can't sleep in a strange bed or something. -- on a much lower scale I get like this whenever I go away for a business trip, never get much sleep, always get the sniffles, and get a strange nervous energy before a big meeting

 

Jaundice causes yellowing of the skin, the bilirubin pigment is yellow, likewise jaundice causes yellowing of the whites of the eyes, i saw no evidence of the skin or eyes of GGG showing jaundice.

I stated in my first reply to you that i was "Not saying he does not have a liver issue", how would i or indeed you know if he has, we do not have access to his medical history, blood reports etc
Now i do not know what your medical qualifications are...... perhaps you are a heptologist

With regard to you stating where are my original thoughts, well when it comes to health issues, clinical facts and evidence based research is the generally accepted best way, original thoughts in the area of health are above my pay grade.

We do know that GGG in previous bout saw him take body shots that caused him distress, we saw him protecting his side in this bout, what we also know is Canelo is a vicious body puncher, despite GGG using one hand to protect his side Canelo could not land punches on GGG to KO him, which he stated he was going to do, perhaps wise old GGG knew Canelo could not stop him unless with body shots.

No i do not question a fighters health, it is not for me to do so, if the boxing authorities say he is fit then who am i to question it?
Likewise if a rich experienced boxer like GGG decides to fight then he also is stating he is fit enough, he is not a journeyman who out of possible financial necessity might have to fight whether carrying injury or not.

In fact it was Canelo post fight who was claiming he himself was carrying a injury.

What i do know is that GGG was 40, fighting in the 168 pound weight class for the first time, against a boxer 8 yrs his junior who is undisputed world champion of that weight, and GGG had only fought 4 times in last 4 yrs, whereas Canelo had fought 8 times, all factual things that are not likely to be positive for GGG.

Now if GGG reports later he did indeed have a health issue, it will have been diagnosed using the best of diagnostic tools available, by the best clinicians with all necessary data to formulate their diagnosis, rather than keyboard warriors using Dr Google, or just ideas that enter their heads

He was preventing a Canelo left hook to the body. GGG knows he isn’t as fast as he use to be and Canelo still has a wicked fast left hook. He neutralize a weapon that has stopped everyone else at 168 and you have stupid thread asking why he was protecting that right .

You guys just can’t except the fact GGG was terrified of getting stopped with a left to the body. He waited and in the later rnds let his right hand go.
