Cotto's "achievements" in the last 3 years:
- 2 losses
- 3 wins over a journeyman, 1-legged Martinez, and dehydrated, demoralized Geale.

Boxing REALLY sucks if Cotto is #4 p4p.

 

Laugh away, but the fact is, those three wins make Little G's resume look like parakeet ****, or do you believe that Willie Monroe is equal to a 1 legged Martinez?

Plus Cotto's losses were to a caliber of fighters (Mayweather, Pacquiao, Trout) that Little G has never ever been in the ring with.

I actually agree with Roach in that Cotto will beat Little G, and probably by TKO.

Martinez was superb against Pavlik and Williams, but he was a pale copy of that against Murray who won without any "almost". He lost only on paper. Martinez who fought Cotto was even in worse shape. Without ability to use his movement and punch with his full body (including legs), he became an easy victim beatable by Cottos, Monroes, Rubios and other B level fighters.

 

Martinez was a fraction of himself, but not to the point of being reduced to an ESPN fighter.
You think that Monroe would have beaten that version of Martinez? I don't think so.
Let's say they are even. That still puts Little G nowhere close to Cotto's resume. Cotto's revenge win over Margarito alone beats anything on Little G's resume.

 

Trout doesn't suck. He is a very good fighter. He might even beat Little G.
I don't agree with Roach on 98% of what he says. Just the comment about Cotto beating Little G. Golvkin has yet to get in the ring with an opponent of Cotto's stature.
