Ummm??? Besides Proska, what top 15 opponent did GGG fight until his fight with Geale in 2014? I think you're confusing the Franchise Championship with the WBA Super Championship. They're two completely different things, the Franchise champion is basically a revamped Emeritus champion with a toy belt you can put inside your closet. It's not a world title. Once you're the established WBC champion, you can CHOOSE whether you want to vacate it to become the Franchise or not. Wilder declined to become the Franchise champion while still the champ because it's not a real belt. Canelo isn't the WBC 160 pound champion anymore, Charlo is. Just like Haney is the WBC Lightweight champion but it doesn't matter since Lopez holds all the other belts. You don't CHOOSE whether you want to be the WBA super champion over the regular one because the WBA Super belt is the real WBA belt.

I don't care whether you think GGG deserved to be a champion or not during his interim and regular WBA belt days. We can't rewrite history to appease your fanboyism. Sonny Liston was the best HW on the planet from 1958-1962, beat every ranked HW but wasn't the champion due to Floyd Patterson not fighting him. Ali from 1970-1974 fought and beat 4 hall of famers and 8 ranked Heavyweights but wasn't the champion because Fraizer and then Foreman were the Champions. There's numerous other examples, but you get the point.

Ring top 10 were Macklin,Stevens, between Proksa and Geale. After that was Rubio, Murray, Lemieux, Jacobs and Canelo. The rest were alfabet top 10. As well as ring mag #1 rated welterweight Kell Brook who was also rated #10 pfp and the undefeated IBF champ.

bums, why did you waste my time posting this garbage. Curtis Stevens, really? I remember Curtis Stevens getting embarrassed by another bum called Jesse Brinkley around 09/10 on ESPN Friday Night fights. He retired 2 years after, fought abysmal journeymen then magically gets a top 10 MW ranking? :qmeparto: The great Marco Antonio Rubio, Matthew Frickin Macklin and to top it off you added a WW to boost GGG's resume credibility. Am I supposed to be impressed? Hey man, Nobuhiro Ishida was pretty good, the man fought all the way up at HW. Why didn't you include him?

There are alot I didn't include, I only included the Ring top 10 guys. Golovkin destroyed all of them as he should. You talk bad about Macklin but he got robbed vs Sturm the big Super champ, then he gave Martinez hell, but as you know GGG made easy work of him breaking two of his ribs. I don't need to build up GGG at all, the fight results speak for themselves.
