Nobody bullies GGG. Crawford being a weight bully won't help him against a wrecking machine like Golovkin. Crawford can use his size advantage against welterweights but it's not gonna help against one of the greatest middleweights of all time.

GGG is 43, would be close enough to 44 by the time a fight took place and by that time GGG wouldn't have fought for three and a half years.

Crawford would embarrass that version of GGG and it would be really sad to watch.

This is not a fair fight. GGG is already old and washed up. A fair fight would be Benevidez to go down to 168 but I believe Bud will not have the confidence to do so as I think he s like Floyd

GGG is to old now. His reflex and legs are gone.

I had Bud winning this weekend, I’m more right, more often than you think

Crawford GGG will be a big money fight and one Crawford has a high chance of winning

Its literally the biggest win win for not only Crawford but for GGG as well

He only needs 1 or 2 consecutive blows to hurt Crawford

That’s what will make the fight intriguing

That's what they said about Canelo and we saw how that played out.

I have to be honest, Golovkin looked about as fast as a tree in the third Canelo fight. Skills are there, power is there, but if your punches are always half a second too slow you're not going to get anywhere. He really ought to stay retired unless he really really needs the $$$

We've already seen a dry run of this match in Crawford vs. Madrimov. You know, the match many think Crawford lost? GGG is bigger and hits far harder than Madrimov does. Bud will swerve this match like the plague.:deal:

    not me

Clenelo isn’t a power puncher buddy

also, he barely landed anything super clean upstairs

Leaving aside the mismatch to be expected - this would hammer another nail into boxings coffin...

Canelo basically didn't have to defend ALL of the belts at super middle for a LONG time. Now I assume Crawford will take some time to rest. If his next fight is golovkin and he is not immediately stripped (preferrably by multiple orgs, though that is not how it usually works as they tend to wait for each other to invoke their mandatories) it will be a shame.

    Undisputed has become a catastrophe.

Fighter A becomes undisputed. If fame comes with it he can pick whomever he wants to fight. Mandatories wait 3-5 years for their shot or maybe never get it. They don't fight equal opposition in order to keep their chances. Once they finally get a belt and earn some more money they sure aren't inclined to take the hardest challenges. Amazing for boxing.

Boxing's biggest problem is matchmaking but the belt-politics play a lot into it.

I will be furious if crawford is allowed to fight ggg next and keep his belts. I was hoping this bs would stop now that canelo has lost the belts. Best thing would be for crawford to go to middle and release the belts.

I mean who wants to see crawford vs ggg at this point? Ggg looked terrible in his last few fights and I am a big fan of his.

It's also the typical thing. Beat a famous fading fighter and everyone thinks you are uber-amazing.

Let crawford fight alimkhanuly and see that that gets way more competitive than you expect. Remember madrimov? Crawford was very lucky to scrape by him. Btw I am also a fan of crawford's, but if people are overhyping his performance, it has to be pointed out.

GGG vs Crawford is a horrid matchup, target practice for 12 rounds for Crawford against a 43-year-old who looked washed up against Canelo nearly 3 years ago. There are many better fights out there with actual active fighters. It's sad when legends can't stay retired and try to give it one last throw of the dice. 99 times out of 100, it ends horribly, and I can't see why this would be any exception.

Crawford is a big guy.. He did not look small against Canelo in fact he looked bigger than Canelo. He is taller and longer in reach..
If Benavidez can go down to 168 lbs why not can he fight him? If he is not willing to fight Benavidez at 168 others at 168 are willing to do so, Bud is plainly ducking looking only for an easy fights just like Floyd. We know the luckluster performance of Canelo against C level fighter in his last two fights againt Berlanga and Scull. He has already a washed up fighter.
