So you are saying that GGG vs Cotto is a huge fight that K2 should do everything in their power to make?👍🏼

 

After Floyd beat Mosley he took over a year off an still came back and fought Ortiz the welterweight champ. He didn't go looking for a tune up. Then took another 8 months off and came back to fight Cotto. Ward would never do something like this.

 

From a business perspective of course it's better to lose for the most money, than the 2nd most personally I could careless about Ward or GGG as individuals.

My thing is and has always been you don't talk all that sh!t about everyone being scared of you, then back down when called out on it.

 

My thing is I don't understand where Ward was when K2 was looking for an opponent after the Murray fight. Where was he when it took K2 so long to find an opponent after the Monroe jr fight? They wait and wait, then send an offer when GGG is finalizing the Lemuix fight, Cotto-Canelo is on and GGG is mandatory for the winner.

That's not a legit offer. That is posturing. Especially after rejecting a proposal to fight GGG when he was actually available and fighting Delvin Rodriguez instead (while also rejecting random drug testing).

In all seriousness it's been nothing but head scratching decisions and shenanigans out of Ward for years now. Don't know how you can take this guy seriously at this point.

 

Oh, and Golovkin isn't losing to Cotto/Canelo. No way. And with a 175lb fight night rehydration clause, Ward probably becomes just another name in the KO streak. Of course, the only reason HATERZ want to see GGG fight Ward is because they know Ward will out weigh Golovkin by about 20lbs on fight night.

 

Nobody "backed down" except Ward when HBO offered him the Golovkin fight. Golovkin is just busy achieving his primary goal, becoming an undisputed MW champion. When all 4 belts are collected, Ward will be able to become another good boy.

 

I hope he fights at least one of them and gets taught a lesson.

It is just too hard to imagine that a boxer selecting opponents like Smith, Murdoch, Brandt would suddenly decide to face most dangerous opponents available.

 

Seems like GGG just flip flopped again, after telling Ward he's to small for 168 only 64, he's just told Alvarez he'll fight anyone 160-68.

Which one is it.
