Totally agree, you had in Golovkin a guy who looked slow , hesitant to pull the trigger , and threw nothing with bad intentions practically the whole fight, he looked every bit his age, heck I thought Duran looked better when he was 45 . The way GGG looked I thought Canelo would stop him later but he didn't seem interested in pressing the issue. Which I found strange with all the B.S. before the fight.
ahhhhh he’ll survive. He is too good to just hang them up now. GGG will likely be looking to unify. we see how he does against Charlo which is a winnable fight for GGG. then he & we can assess wether or not he should go for the final piece to the undisputed MW puzzle in Janibek.
Honestly, I don't see him destroying anybody anymore. Even against Murata, I thought he was moments away from defeat at stages. He's close to a brutal defeat if he fights any more elite fighters, Janibek would hurt him, probably Charlo as well. He hasn't looked good in years now.
yeah likely. But all we can do is choose not to watch, Warriors are going to war. We watched it happen to: Julio César Chávez Mike Tyson, Roy Jones, James Toney Evander Holyfield, Arturo Gatti Shane Mosley Oscar de la hoya Paquiao (who was likely going to get obliterated by Spence- but we were still going to watch) The list goes on & on. My main point is: There going to do it anyway bro All we can do is choose not to watch.
Yes, At times, it looked like a sparring session. It was not staged though. The answer is simply that at GGG at 40 does not have the energy anymore for high pace. by the way I scored 116-112 Canelo
