    :patsch And how exactly are you going to judge power from a video anyway? The more powerful you are the less powerful you tend to look because you're moving efficiently. Usain Bolt doesn't look powerful, Golovkin doesn't look powerful, Tszyu doesn't look powerful etc.
    When did I ever say I was the hardest puncher? I haven't boxed in years but I do train regularly and I can do one armed pull-ups, they're not easy and they usually give me a bit of tendinitis in my elbows for a couple of days afterwards. What relevance does that have with what I'm saying anyway? I'm just talking about biomechanical factors involved in a punch, trying to educate a few dimwits like yourself who believe that punching power is a gift from the gods that can't be altered.

    We've alos seen in recent years,golfers spending way more time in the weights rokm and developing their body strength,and hitting the ball further.

    2 golfers with the same technique, one is small and weak, the other is big and strong.
    The second one hits the ball further.

    Look at Tiger, the guy is built like an NFL running back!

    That's how I can tell.

    I've boxed before so i know what a hard punch sounds like because I've felt them before.

    That's how i can tell.

    And one arm pullups is a hell of a claim, so I want to see that ****. If you built up to that level correctly, you should have no issue with tendonitis.

    Do you realise how biomechanically inefficient a one armed pull up is? It's not a natural movement at all, unlike a squat or a deadlift. Do one armed pull ups with any regularity and it's literally impossible to not injure your elbow, speak to any expert and they'll tell you the same. You're an idiot Roach, you have no idea. Do heavy-weighted pull ups, eccentric one armed reps (negatives), keep your body weight down and once you can do them you tell me that they're safer than lifting weights. I can do 4-5 with each arm, I've forgotten more than you'll ever know about periodization, biomechanics and progressive overload so don't tell me I didn't build up to that level correctly. It's inherently an injury causing exercise.

    That's why I said the 'extent it can increase it is debatable'.

    What I was saying, if people would care to read it properly, is that if you've got more mass/weight on the implements your using on your opponent, then you're going to do more damage as long the acceleration of a given punch remains the same.

    I'll pose a question, as an example. I'm no body builder, nor do I want to be, but over the last 6 months I've personally begun to build my lats, traps and triceps, with moderate success. Without a doubt, my punching power has increased since then, despite the same punch technique etc, everything else is the same. It feels like there's a lot more 'behind' my punches. Zero doubt in my mind about that, and I have no reason to be untruthful about it either. So, explain that? :conf

    If the force generated by a punch doesn't indicate how much power you have, what does, idiot?

    The only way a one arm pull up is bad is if you are slamming down on your elbow and using momentum to throw yourself up.

    If you're doing that, you're not really doing a one arm pull up.

    You're doing some sort of crossfit hybrid jerk session.

    Not to mention, how else could it be bad? How is it putting your body in a bad mechanical position?

    I'm not talking about grabbing your wrist and pulling up.

    That's different.

    I'm talking about an unsupported, 1 arm pull up.

    It sounds like you're full of ****, dealt with, unless you can explain how in the **** it's putting your body in a bad mechanical position.

    It is a combination of the mind, focus, form, commitment, obviously muscle in the right places.
