GGG should AVOID Carl Froch!

I still can't believe people have GGG standing a chance.

People said Bute would 'out box' Froch and make him look amateur, honestly, they did. I was reading the comments people were making, and it was funny. Seriously, they had Bute winning?

Froch taught Bute a lesson. GGG wouldn't last against someone like Froch who would be willing to go war.

It seems everytime Froch is gonna face someone, they have Froch ''getting outboxed'', they guy is seriously undermined and he always has to prove himself. I remember how people had Kessler beating him in the rematch.

GGG should avoid someone like Froch. Froch has too much experience with higher level fighters.

I'm telling you, even Martinez would make GGG look amateur.

    Agreed.

Froch is too good for GGG and has the iron jaw that reduces GGG's most lethal weapon (his power). I don't think Froch would do a "bute" on GGG. But he'd the TKO win in the later rounds.

    Exactly.

I like watching GGG but people putting him in Froch's ballpark makes me laugh. GGG hasn't even beaten Martinez yet and I don't think he can.

It kinda depends tho, doesn't it? If you're a fan of boxing then it's a fight you wouldn't want to miss.

If you think that GGGs most important asset is his '0' and that it needs protecting at all costs, then perhaps a Froch fight is too much of a risk.

I'm a fan of both fighters and see it as a potentially great fight (in fact it's hard to see how it couldn't be epic, given the stylistic match) but one that has more potential upsides for GGG than Froch. If GGG could beat Froch, he becomes an instant P4Per and removes all questions regarding his legitimacy, even a close loss would show he could be a major force within 2 divisions.

Froch is edging towards retirement, but still, a loss to a career MW would be a blot on his record and even winning would probably do little to enhance his reputation (unless GGG proved himself against other top SMWs first) - his main reason for making this fight would be the payday involved, which increases the more Golovkin proves himself.

I don't want him to fight either Froch or Ward unless it's the last resort option. It'd be unfair for him to lose to guys much bigger than him just because everybody else at his weight is ducking him. I had the same opinion when Ward was trying to get Martinez to fight him.

That's what they said Bute would do to Froch.

GGG is a media hype job compared to Froch, he's never fought the caliber of comp that Froch has.

Some people still aren't and it's stupid. Froch has fought the likes of Kessler and Bute and beaten them, they said Bute would beat Froch easily and look what happened.

GGG is a media hype job COMPARED to Froch, he's never went to war or fought anyone like Froch has.

I guratanee you that Froch would make GGG look silly.

Ye I agree, Froch has to much for GGG even though GGG is going to be a great fighter and maybe the next big thing.

He's undeniably P4P #5 IMO. People like to derail Froch but he is a true warrior, not a paper champion like Bute.

You need to stop going on about Bute. GGG is not Bute. ISTR GGG knocking Bute TFO. Could Froch beat GGG? It's certainly possible. He's a very good SMW so he should be able to beat a very good MW but Froch did lose to Kessler and got beat up by Taylor (a MW) for much of the fight. All this should avoid Froch talk is seeming a bit insecure to me.

I agree. I'm not saying anything bad about Froch. Just pointing out that like GGG, he's human, has flaws and is beatable.
