    Clearly GGG is the better boxer. He was just fighting too many factors at once — age, judges, Drugnelo's PED use — Drugnelo deserves credit for having an good chin and coming forward the second fight, but those two things don't give him an undeserved victory.

    You don't give Drugnelo the fight for GGG looking old/shot just like you don't give Drugnelo the fight for not getting knocked out.

    GGG got old. Dude is 36 years old. He was more concerned about fighting for 12 rounds due to his opponent's age and was content outboxing and out punching Drugnelo. GGG had Drugnelo badly hurt whereas Drugnelo never hurt GGG.

    I started to watch boxing regularly 2 years ago and loved it immediately and I chose Golovkin as my man (I’m not really interested in other fights).

    How should I feel about boxing???

    Because for me this is the most corrupt sport I have ever seen.
    I honestly don’t feel any motivation to carry on watching this maffia. Fights are good but the corrupt promoters and judges destroying everything.

    Hell of a sport, hell of an athletes, Golovkin is the coolest man on the planet, but disgusting how corrupt it is.

    Pointless to have a 3rd fight. He can’t knock Canelo out, and he will never get the decision.

    Both points you both make are true but let's be honest here, we expected Golovkin to walk through Canelo like the machine he seemed to be. He just hasn't got it in him to do that in this day and age. A case of perfect timing from Canelo but it is what it is.

    Totally agree tgat he won both fights but it is what it is.

    Just hope he goes onwards and upwards now.

    I mean I’m watching them, but I can only cheer for GGG. Nothing worse in all sports when a fighter gets robbed. And people are alright with it, they say “boxing is like this”

    No, GGG did not beat Canelo going backwards. Only when he came forward. He got bullied and outmuscled and outpunched for a stretch of rounds and I think only came back to deserve the decision with a great rally in the 10th and 11th.

    Your lack of objectivity is why people hate on GGG and his nuthugger fans who can't see him with anything but a loving gaze.

    You thought he was bullied? In what way was he bullied? I keep hearing that Drugnelo walked him down? Drugnelo came forward, but he did not bully or walk Golovkin down.

    NO. 100% THAT DID NOT HAPPEN.

    An example of a fighter walking someone down is Margaito-Cotto I. Walking someone down means you're constantly pinning him against the ropes and beating the **** out of them. Golovkin was "backed" into ropes once and nothing happened.

    Golovkin boxed beautifully off the backdoor NEVER ONCE retreating to the ropes and then circling the perimeter of the ring (think Mayweather). Golovkin was always in range to fight back and he did.

    Good advice, ElCyclon. Some people are so lovestruck by GGG that they can't see straight. No point trying to talk reason to people who snuggle with Gennady Pillow Pets at night.

    No, read my post again. I gave credit to Drugnelo for having a great chin and for coming forward. But just because he has a great chin and came forward, doesn't mean that he deserved to win the fight.
