I still think eubank will resign with matchroom.....and it would easily do 450k with the undercard stacked....a fight that froch ducked....woukd be seen as a huge feet for eubank.....

GG has lots of U.K. fans.

Fights against Saunders or Eubank would be big business.

Eubank's gained a lot of attention over the past 12 months. If he keeps busy and the fight was built up, Eubank-GG would be huge over here.

A lot of casuals like GG, and Eubank has a lot of haters as well as fans.

It definitely has potential if marketed right.

Wouldn't do 450K though like he said.

Joshua v Whyte (allegedly) did 400k, and Fury v Vlad around 450K (which are massive numbers when you consider the fanbase)

Being that Sky Sports wouldn't be involved with Saunders, forget that getting anywhere near. And Eubank could possibly be, but is he as big as Joshua or Fury over here- I don't think so.

I agree, it can become a pretty big fight, but I don't think Eubank has done himself any favours moving from Matchroom and more importantly Sky Sports.

Wouldn't a fight vs Eubank or BJS potentially make a fight with the other one a much bigger affair? I imagine if GGG came over and knocked out one of the two guys at middle the UK fans would be looking for the other to take him out. Especially since BJS and Eubanks names are basically tied together from their rivalry.

After he knocks them both out fans will jump on the Degale wagon effectively making GGG the British assassin.

I'm not sure they would actually put Eubank in with Golovkin, they surely must know he would get destroyed and embarassed?

It would be a bit of a joke of a fight. Eubank hasn't really beaten anybody yet and he would probably get easily KO'd in 2 rounds by Golovkin.

The Saunders fight will be a Boxnation PPV. With these PPV fights over here, a lot of the income comes from bars, and not many I know even have Boxnation.

The Eubank fight would sell pretty well though.

Thing is, who is 'they' he doesn't have a promoter, but his dad seems really keen for it and pulls all the strings (in fact that's the case even if they do have a promoter)

I don't think his dad is really keen, I think it's just talk to hype him and gain publicity. Fighting Golovkin any time soon could end his hype and kill his career. I doubt they want to cash out against Golovkin yet when they can earn good money in much more winnable fights. They probably want to avoid Golovkin until he's old and shot.

To be honest, I don't know about the numbers and I know it'd be hard to put together. But if it was marketed right with a decent undercard, it could be very big.

I was very surprised at that. But then again, it's the Eubank's.

I certainly wouldn't at this stage, but from listening to numerous interviews, I really believe they will at the first opportunity.

You could be right, it could be just for the cameras, but like I say, I believe them.

What on earth were they doing letting him fight Billy Joe in 2014? That was far too soon.

Nah....his physical doesn't fit the LHD. He's too small to fight at that weight class. 168 is better than 175 for GGG.

His height is only 5' 9"

Kovalev will KO him within 5 rounds at 175.
