GGG should make ZERO concessions for an Andre Ward fight

Yeah, but that's assuming that GGG has to move up to face Ward. Ward can also go down to face GGG at 160, or at a catchweight. They both have belts, so I don't see why we only look to GGG to move up. Although I'm not opposed to it, either.

In another thread someone said they were the same height and GGG should move to 168.

GGG is the much bigger draw, Ward will have to do as he says, not the other way around.

    Says who?

Nobody wants to watch Ward, whereas GGG is now a global superstar who everyone tunes in to see.

Hypotheticall if this was after the Super Six and Golovkin was where he is now, Ward would be the A side, but it's changed so much since then.

    Agreed.

Seeing as Ward is so desperate for the fight to happen right now why doesn't he offer to make some concessions in order to get the ball rolling? He can get his passport out and offer to head over to a neutral location for the fight for one. He's already had way more than his fair share of home comforts up to now, let him get a taste of the other side for a change.

Obviously it would be too unreasonable to expect Ward to take on Golovkin in his homeland Kazakhstan with the added woe of having a Kazakh referee and perhaps two Kazakh judges making life difficult for him, so why not agree to do it in a neutral location with neutral officials? I think Germany would be ideal. It makes a lot of sense for a number of different reasons.

    1. It would silence his detractor's and critic's gripes about him always having everything his own way and always playing home games all the time.

    2. A neutral referee means he won't be able to get away with those dirty tactics his American referees have been letting him get away with. Surely he doesn't need to headbutt and hold on like a limpet all night to beat a ''MW hype job'' like Golovkin? I think it's only fair that all the officials for this fight should come from neutral locations in Europe. Don't forget that Golovkin is a very clean fighter.

    3. He won't be able to worm out of doing OSDT again if Team Golovkin requests it, which they definitely should given Ward's history of avoiding taking the test. It was supposed to happen for the Green, Abraham and Froch fights and Ward categorically refused to do it for the E-Rod fight despite his former employee and friend Victor Conte offering to pay for both of their tests out of his own pocket.

Golovkin has already fought all over the place: Panama x 2, Denmark, Monaco x2, Ukraine, Germany x many, the USA x 6, and he's even fought in his homeland Kazakhstan once too. lol. So why not let Ward get a taste of some foreign cuisine for a change? I hear the sausages over in Germany are to die for.

Ward could even go that extra mile and offer to do it at a catch weight. How about at 160¼? That sounds more than reasonable to me. I mean it's not like he doesn't already hold all the aces when it comes to size, skill, boxing ability, athleticism, slickness, hand speed, foot work, slickness, ring IQ etc. so why can't he come down in weight if he wants it so bad?

Chad Dawson (who's a strapping 6'3'') had weighed as high as 191 lbs for at least one of his world title fights at 175 but he still managed to get down to 168 when he went to Oakland and according to Ward and his fans he was still at full strength, so surely Ward who only weighs about 175-176 on fight night should be able to get down to 160¼ for this fight without too much difficulty. Don't forget that Golovkin is an ''easy fight for Ward'' remember.

Ward has no heart or balls.

He seriously thinks he is Mayweather-level when it comes to PPV/people wanting to see him fight.

    This.

First of all, Ward is not legally in a position to negotiate for a fight whilst he is in a contract dispute with Goosen Tutor promotions who hold a valid contract with him for a couple more years.

If he truly wanted the fight with GGG, why wasn't he ringside at the Stubb hub centre and even jump into the ring post fight to challenge GGG face to face like a man.

Sending an email through your lawyer is just about the most garbage "Call out" i've ever heard about.

Ward hasn't fought for a year and is no longer relevant as a box office attraction or active Super Middleweight.

Most of all, why would GGG move up to 168lbs when all the BIG fights for him are at 160lbs like Canelo and Cotto. GGG is also a pretty average sized middleweight who could probably make 154lbs without much struggle. Having to add 8lbs to fight at Super Middle is a pointless move for him unless it's a PPV fight against Froch or Chavez jr.

    Ward doesn't even bring PPV!

Ward is binding his time, He's waiting for Floyd to retire before making his money as the P4P Number 1.

He will have a new promoter and He will be known as Pound 4 Pound King Andre SOG Ward and GGG will be down in the P4P Rankings

Triple G mentioned Ward so why should Ward come down? I like Gennady cause he's a crowd pleaser but Ward would put a sweet science on him

Golovkin is a bigger draw than Ward in California.

Ward needs to be less selfish and stop demanding all the advantages, or he's not getting anybody to sign to fight him.
