If Porter was a MW I'd be interested in seeing him fight GGG. I wanna see how GGG would deal with the overwhelming pressure he brings.
yeah...id be interested in seeing ggg fight fonfara, stevenson, ward, beterbiev, joe smith and a few others at 175 too
Shockmaster, Here's my prediction: If Canelo swerves GGG, and Ward beats Kovalev, then GGG vs Ward will happen. If Canelo fights GGG, then GGG will never fight the winner of Kov/Ward
i see where you are coming from.... im still unsure ggg would want any of ward especially if he beats kova but lets say they did want to make the fight? how easy is it? i mean ward aint gonna wanna go back to 168....and im not sure ggg would want to go full 175.....so theyd have to come to an agreement on a CW.....and at that point ward might be in the drivers seat to make the demands
Right lol! When I read the title I thought oh man thanks a lot captain obvious and what's your point. Jeez.
Canelo will never step in the ring with Golovkin, even at catch weight. Maybe when Golovkin reaches 38 and watered down.
Possibly a CW of 172. Ward would have the A side power. BUT, GGG is still a solid draw. Whats interesting is that Ward, GGG and Canelo "need" each other in the sense that, although there is TALENT at 154, 160 and 175, these 3 are the biggest in terms of STAR power. GGG gives Canelo AND Ward their biggest paydays. Canelo gives GGG his biggest payday. And Ward gives GGG his biggest payday. The biggest reason I think GGG would go for Ward in the event that Ward wins is the payday. GGG is 34, turning 35. The Brook fight will get him paid well. Maaaybe a few more fights in the UK for more money. But state-side, besides Canelo, Ward is the last dance partner for GGG. I can see his team making the fight for the cash-out
