Vanes would never have been mentioned if Ginger Nutts hadn't popped dirty. GGG was training for Clenelo he wanted a fight Vanes was available & agreeable so he took Vanes. I'm wondering if the failed tests wasn't a ploy by Oscar & Ginger to avoid GGG & get the knee surgery done. They knew the NSAC wouldnt really punish Ginger they'd help him like always. Watch em put Ginger -Spike for the vacant IBF title in Sept to give the cheating coward a title. WAR SPIKE O'SULLIVAN !!!!!!!

 

Canelo was only suspended for 6 months which was nothing because
1) he had a knee surgery and was about to miss the exact same time anyway
2) he wasn't forced to do stricter drug testing like Povetkin/Ortiz/Stiverne
3) he wasn't even fined.

So yes, Canelo is privileged.

 

1. He was suspended where other fighters such as Vargas was not despite having higher concentrations of clen.
2. Willingly accepted to take a hair follicle test and willingly signed up for VADA's 360 program which is more testing than WBCs CBP that GGG was signed up for.
3. All the evidence indicated it was caused by contaminated meat.

Canelo is responsible for what he’s responsible for, it doesn’t change the fact GGG is responsible for his decisions.

It’s a ripple effect. Had he beat Clenelo like we mostly expected, he probably fights SD as his mandatory.

Doesn’t matter as this point. GGG is 36 and is trying to cash out the last 1-2 years of his career. Can’t blame him. Not to mention he can go back and fight SD anyway.

 

Those have nothing to do with the fact that he was suspended for 6 months when other fighters from Mexico who tested positive in greater concentrations were not suspended at all due to meat contamination.

 

Those other fighters didn't fight in Nevada. So the comparison is a bit off.

 

But it was Canelo who failed 2 tests.....nobody has gone hunting for him.....HE BROUGHT THIS ON HIMSELF.
