The IBF warned him. They told him not to fight Vanes , yet he went through with the fight anyway. Loffler had to pay them 20K so they didn't strip him back then.

He ducked him. Simple as that. Tell me why he wanted to fight Spikey , Muggie and Vanes , but refused to fight his mandatory?

That's another good fight. 160 has the depth now it just needs the fights to get made.

No they GGGs team a chance to put it in writing that they would fight Derevyanchenko next in August and they didn’t do it. Since they wouldn’t put it in writing the IBF moved to strip and its the correct move.

So when should he have faced Derevyanchenko at that time?

Derevyanchenko was a novice who made his career debut in '14, YOU claimed that Golovkin should have fought Derevyanchenko instead of chasing cotto....this was that timescale.

You won't discuss because you have once again embarrassed yourself.

If Canelo hadn't popped dirty GGG would have already kicked his ginger ass for a second time. Its pure corruption
just like Margarito. They cannot beat them legitimately so we;ll railroad em

The mandatory was 2 years over due. Once the Canelo fight was off , he should have used the ample amount of free time he had to honor his mandatory so he wouldn't get stripped.

He would have knocked off that mandatory no problem it was against a bum like Dom Wade.

It had more to do with GGG fighting Vanes. Apparently GGG requested an exception from the IBF to fight Vanes, and as a result of that, the IBF demanded he then turn around and fight his mandatory by Aug 3rd. I'm guessing that in the last two weeks Golovkin hasn't made an attempt to agree to fight his mandatory, so the IBF decided to strip him.

Now GGG has less to offer Canelo in a rematch. One less belt means he has one less reason to demand a higher split.

A bit to quick for my liking which makes me think that they are going to go the BJS/Murata route, which whilst are equally as good being much more money.

As a fan of both Derevyanchenko and Golovkin in a bit pissed if I'm to be honest.

Hopefully Derevyanchenko will get a decent opponent to fight for the IBF title.

If Canelo hadn't popped for clenbuterol, Canelo would be IBF Champ by now.

It’s not quick though they gave him a shot to fulfil the mando twice now. GGG didn’t want it with this unknown dangerous contender, he will probably go after the two he named.
