When Canelo punishes Golovkin and again lands the crisper harder shots, it again will be about HBO punchstats indicating Golovkin landed more of his arm punches again. LOL!

 

A competitive by clear victory for Canelo will get hoards of complains of it being a robbery.

Short of Golovkin getting bloodgeoned round after round, none of Golovkin fans around here will be content when the decision goes Canelo's way.

 

In other words, boxing will go on as it always has.
Nothing will change.

 

I like to think I am fairly informed. I think it was about the money split, but because of principle not greed.

Same thing that happened with Manny. Idiots called him every name in the book when he turned down a flat fee of 40mil offer to fight flIVd. Manny made the right choice because he made hundreds of millions when the fight finally happened.

 

It's a little odd. It's these guys who just absolutely HATE 3G or his fans that keep making those silly comments. And then after making mountings out of molehills on 'who 3G is ducking now', they then claim to be the SMART ones of the board. All the while calling him a diva, or that he's actively chasing small guys.

You know I hate to say it but you are correct. This fight DOES harm the division from a competitive point of view.
With the money they are about to make why would GGG (if he wins) fight Charlo?? Not for 2 million no way that fight would maybe do PPV 200k cuz lets face it on his own GGG is not a draw even if he beats Canelo many of the mexican fans (the huge majority that buy his fights) will not become GGG diehards.
Now if GGG beats Canelo and STILL fights Charlo u would have to give him mad respect

 

Thats par the course on here. 9/10 posters here are biased and full of it. If im wrong on something i man up and admit it. I posted a thread the other day about how i was wrong because i didnt think this fight was going to be made this week. Thankfully i was wrong. Most posters here never admit theyre wrong about somthing and when you call them on it they backtrack or make up some bs.

 

Truth! I have no probs admitting my errors. There is NOTHING wrong with being wrong. But for some reasons, some guys will stick to their guns no matter what. I guess it is what it is...
