Doesn't even compare. Who does GGG fight thats bigger than him? Tyson was 5'10 and could have fought cruiserweight. Always fought people bigger than him. Also before split with Kevin Rooney Tyson was the scariest person on the planet. Watch him walk out vs Spinks. I would have thrown in the towel before he even got to the ring if I were Spinks. Mind you Spinks had never been floored before he fought Tyson. Tyson made an undefeated champion retire after 1 round.

Quillin was an undefeated champion and was so afraid that he didn't even step in the ring with Golovkin.

Felix Sturm was so afraid that he changed the division.

N'Dam N'Jikam rather renounced the interim belt than fighting Golovkin.

Cotto tries to pay step aside money and fights Golovkin leftovers at catchweight

    Froch rather announced his retirement

Ward was hinding for 1,5 years

I'm as much of a GGG fan as anybody, but I can't argue with this.
    Kovalev's wallet says "Bad Motherf*cker" on it:lol:

You can stop with that Ward statement. I know you was on a roll but you went past your stop and started fantasizing.

    Great argument!

Let's see the weight differences for Tyson through his first 32 fights!

    Mercedes: Tyson +15 lbs
    Singleton: Tyson +16 lbs
    Halpin: Exactly Equal Weight
    Spain: Tyson +33 lbs
    Alderson: Tyson - 11 lbs
    Sims: Exactly Equal Weight
    Canady: Tyson + 10 lbs
    Johnson: Tyson +23 lbs
    Long: Exactly Equal Weight
    Colay: Tyson - 7 lbs
    Benjamin: Tyson - 6 lbs
    Richardson: Tyson + 7lbs
    Nelson: Tyson + 5 lbs
    Scaff: Tyson - 35 lbs
    Young: Tyson + 13 lbs
    Jaco: Tyson + 7 lbs
    Jameson: Tyson - 20 lbs
    Ferguson: Tyson + 6 lbs
    Zouski: Tyson + 10 lbs
    Tillis: Tyson + 8 lbs
    Green: Tyson: - 10 lbs
    Gross: Tyson - 1 lb
    Hosea: Tyson + 2 lbs
    Boyd: Tyson + 21 lbs
    Frazier: Tyson + 7 lbs
    Ribalta: Tyson + 2 lbs
    Ribalta: Tyson + 20 lbs
    Berbick: Tyson + 3 lbs
    Smith: Tyson - 14 lbs
    Thomas: Tyson + 1 lb
    Tucker: Exactly Equal Weight
    Biggs: Tyson - 12 lbs

So through the same number of fights as GGG has had Tyson faced a massive weight disadvantage of... outweighing his opponent by 3 lbs on average and fighting a grand total of 9 out of 32 opponents who outweighed him... That's 28% of his opponents through 32 fights. So in regards to your statement that Tyson "always fought people bigger than him" we can quote the immortal Brian Fantana... "28% of the time, Tyson 'always fought people bigger than him' every time".

Looks like if Tyson "could of been fighting at cruiser" then 23 of his first 32 opponents also could have been fighting at cruiser. In fact, a handful of them actually weighed in under 200.

And in your flawless example of fighting larger men, the Spinks fight, Tyson fought a former light heavy who he outweighed by 7 lbs.

    But yes, Tyson was short...

A bit premature to call GGG Baddest man yet BUT There has to be a reason non of the highly ranked 160 pounder show the slightest interest in fighting him. They are ALL avoiding him WHY????
He looks like a choirboy but hits like the kick of a mule that's why

GGG doesn't fight at SMW so maybe take off Ward and Froch!

Ward had legal issues it happens. ( GGGs camp have stated he isn't PPV anyway )

Frochs camp went to HBO to see if Froch-GGG could be an American PPV and HBO said NO. So maybe GGG should become PPV material before saying other fighters aren't.

Actually a lot of the guys Tyson fought were smaller than him.

There were very few guys with his muscle mass in his early days

:nod The times he was outweighed in his early days usually occurred when he went up against a lumbering slob like Sammy Scaff.

this forum is divided 50/50 hate and love for GGG , the 50% haters will all be silenced in time , personally i just dont understand the haters mentality , the guy fights up to 4 times a year knocking out whoever stands in his way , OK he has yet to face the big names but from i read and see its hardly golovkin's fault , all he wants to do is fight cotto and unify then move up to SMW where we should really find out if he is the real deal or not . sadly tho half this forum enjoy "the sweet science" and want to watch 12 round bore fests instead of watching exciting fights with big KOs anymore . strange lot on here .
