It's not unfair. It's a perfectly reasonable offer. Particularly given that Ward said he'd go to 160 for Mayweather. I'm not knocking Ward, if he's had a change of heart in the meantime or thinks he couldn't make a catchweight safely then he's perfectly entitled to turn the offer down. My comment was more aimed at the mindless demographic who claim ridiculously that Golovkin "ducked" Ward because he wanted close to even terms rather than a fight where the dice are loaded in Ward's favour to start with. The fact that the fight didn't happen is nobody's fault, they just couldn't agree terms, it happens.

As regards Golovkin facing two others at 168, I must have slept through those fights as I can't remember ever seeing them and the guy shows no real sign that he intends to do so anytime soon. If/when he does move up, it will be because he can't get the meaningful fights at 160 rather than because he is better suited to 168, which he makes pretty easily.

Why don't you guys quit saying demographic and say what you mean? I never claimed Golovkin ducked Ward so you're wasting time. And you misread about Golovkin facing 168 fighters, you know exactly what the deal is.

Lol...stop. Dawson said, live on HBO, he would come to 168 to fight Ward. And Ward "took him down" alright...to the canvas. [emoji2]
