He keeps a third I'd say. So 3 million in his pocket from boxing. I'm sure he gets more from other sources maybe another million or 2. He will get 3-4 million from the Brook fight. He only has 2-3 years left. Expect much more cherry picking style fights and money fights from Golovkin. I wouldnt be surprised to see GGG vs Bradley at some point which will drive the demographic crazy. But who cares.
Every fighter wants the money fights. Why do you think every pro fighter (hell, even mma) keep Floyds name in their mouth. The issue some have with Golovkin is that he was being sold as a "fight all comers" and that has proven to not be the case. Money is most important...like every other fighter.
Think about it like this. GGG purse from the Brook fight will equal the sum of allhis purses in five fights from Murray to Macklin
Golovkins resume would be much better today were he not so avoided. As for taking on all comers thats not the case. Especially after this fight, apparently GGG will be making PPV from Germany as well so after this fight when all the chips are counted the GGG team will turn into the GGGreen team and thats how investments work.
that's not much I think you have to pay 10-20 euros to see him fight and he isn't very known here by the casual fan. Only the hardcore fans in germany would pay to watch boxing anyway
Should GGG be looking to replace K2? Or is he locked up to them for the next couple (1-2) years (basically his career)
GGG will never fire Loeffler. He said in an interview that if he were to ditch Loeffler he would "have no respect for myself" so theres that Plus he has GGG promotions as well so he does in a way work for himself.
