Murata, Andrade, Munguia... all winnable fights. He does all 3 and he’s a lock for HOF even without the Charlo fight.

I don’t think he ever beat Canelo convincingly like a lot of people do, but I still think he’s got it. By all accounts G takes good care of himself.

About the only chance Murata has, GGG at 39 is 50% what he used to be.

I really only see two truly big money opportunities for GGG - Charlo and Canelo.

I don't think Charlo's callout is an earnest one. I think Charlo's management knows that Jermell still does an awful lot wrong and gives GGG too much to work with.

Canelo's fight against Billy Joe Saunders would seem to be risky because BJS is an elite guy who can box on the move. But I don't think it is all that risky because a) He's not at all likely to stop Canelo. It's not really that likely that Canelo can catch BJS - but it's more likely, certainly, than BJS stopping him b) Let's be honest - it's probably pretty unlikely that Canelo doesn't get the decision (they are boxing in Las Vegas).

After Canelo fights BJS - he's probably going to fight Caleb Plant at 168. And then fight Charlo at either a catchweight or at 168.

I don't see Canelo fighting at 174 again. The only big money fights there would be against Bivol and Beterbiev. The former is a threat to outbox him and the latter is a threat to actually stop him.

OK - so back to GGG.

I think GGG beat Canelo both times and the first time - it wasn't even close. I thought GGG did enough in the final few rounds to take the 2nd fight. But asking a now-39 year-old body to respond like GGG's did in the championship rounds of their last fight is probably not going to work out as well as it did before. The odds probably tilt a bit in Canelo's favor now - but not decisively so.

So what I think is going to happen is this...

Canelo has some opportunities (see above) for decent-money fights and is going to continue to wait GGG out for a bit knowing that time is not on GGG's side. In the meantime, GGG will fight Munguia...probably in the late-summer or early-fall. Munguia is game...to a fault...and easy to hit. He's got power of his own and a reach advantage over GGG...but I think GGG has a better than 50% chance of stopping him and a farily-good chance to outpoint him even if he doesn't.

If GGG somehow loses to Munguia - he might call it a day. If he doesn't - I'd bet on Canelo fighting GGG in Spring 2022. Maybe just in time for the latter's 40th birthday...

    Who avoided him?
    Sturm, Cotto and...?
Don't give me that Martinez BS.
And you cant really say Canelo because he signed the fight 3 times.

    Depends on what he wants.

He can fight some very low levels guys to bask in victory a few more times.

Or he can get a couple big paychecks losing to some top levels guys. If he wants to lose to Canelo for the massive paycheck, I can understand that.

I like eubank JR a lot but he’s not exactly technically gifted so what would he have that would make it competitive. His fitness? Speed?
