GGG v Brook. Garbage fight, thanks to MW cowards.

I hate that GGG is put in this situation, but you know what? I hate it for all of the boxing fans, whether they like or dislike him. This is terrible for the sport when the best in divisions refuse to fight each-other. It makes me look towards the UFC fight scheduling/business model with great admiration and appreciation for placing the fight fan first.

 

Golovkin is a fking coward that wanted absolutely nothing to do with big bad ward. He was willing to negotiate with someone like Kell Brook who is 2 weights below, but for Andre Ward, he turned down a contract within5 minutes, no negotiations. And before you cry HE HAD A FIGHT WITH LEMIEUX DOE. So? Lemieux is fking C level, he could have had the same exact deal Kovalev had, Kovalev fought Pascal with a deal against Ward or negotiated for something that suited his preference more. What Golovkin's team really meant when they said 154-175, is 147-160 at the full 160.

 

Brook has a larger jock strap than any of them. Those guys are cowards.

Need to leave Ward's name out of that list when talking about cowards. The guy is fighting Kovalev ffs.

 

I dont think GGG ducked Ward. You cant duck people in different divisions. But only one side wanted to make the fight made at a reasonable weight. GGG wanted nothing to do with Ward and negotiations. The 164 was not even an official offer and a fking joke. Ward offered a 50/50, and tune-ups for an eventual showdown. Him wanting the tune-ups is reasonable since he was inactive for so long. If GGG did not like anything Ward brought to the table(kovalev accepted in a heartbeat), there is a thign called negotiation, and trying to make thef ight happen. Littel g wanted absolutely no parts of anything with Ward. The sad thing is that he didnt even want any parts of a rusty ward who was inactive for a long time.

I mean c'mon, one guy is fighting the p4p #2 in a weight above in Kovalev, the other is bringing up a WW 2 full weight classes LMFAO.

 

Hopkins made his name on Welterweights. He couldn't cut it against the best Middleweights.

So he fought the Welterweights.

 

duran was a lightweight. he was one of haglers top wins.

 

Perhaps, but Duran is also a top 10 p4p fighter ever. And Hagler's best win is Thomas Hearns.

 

By the same token, Kell Brook is having to move up 13lbs to get a fight against a respected fighter. An equivalent jump for GGG would be fighting at 174lbs.

Think it's now completely clear that GGG is the same risk/reward fighter we've seen forever, despite everyone saying otherwise. He wants to fight a LMW in Canelo, he wanted CEJ because it made money (when he's done nothing to earn it) and he's moved onto dragging a WW up to full MW. Purely for money.
