The same gg has been doing for 34 years. Hence, they will get the same, nothing, not to be ever remembered. People will say... "who?". And that's the truth.

What is wrong with you? He fought 95% of the top ranked SMW of his era. That is doing nothing according to you? Several of those fighters, he fought several times.

So now you're quoting who? I never said great fighters. I said the top 95% fighters at SMW of his era. What's even the point to show you? If I give you a list you'll distort it, or take several of the fighters out of context of who or what they were thought to be at the time, or jut dismiss the fact that he fought essentially the top ten several times over. If I don't post the list you'll reply with a callow "see, he's a bum and you can't even post his wins..." it's a trap to dialogue with completely biased people who shut themselves off from other people's perspectives and whose mind can't be changed and is locked up like a vault.

 

I dont give a S**T about if he fought the best smw if those best smw are 100% tomato can. do you understand? everybody knows ottke fought noone. NOONE. And you know it also. That's the same problem gg has, he's fighting bum after bum, nobody after nobody. Not a single ottke's opponent will be remembered, not a single gg's opponen will be remembered. So, ottke will not be remembered either, and neither will be gg.

I dont give a S**T about "i fought the best", what's important is not fighting the bests of your weight, but fighting great fighters. I you dont have great fighters in your division you have 2 choices, "the sven ottke/gg style" or "moving your weight and dare to be great".

ottke is noone, the same way gg will be noone.

I'm trying to find ways to accept this as a legit bout the idealist who find GGG **** drinkable will say those with adverse opinions are haters. Myself I actually think GGG is a beast and a fine fighter that entertains with a solid level of skill, however, this recent decision made by his team is a slap in the face to true boxing enthusiast. It is what it is good luck to both boxers.

 

No such thing as "put in this situation" unless he's a Heavyweight and has hit the weight cap. He's in this situation because he prefers to be considering he has idiotic fans like you that make excuses for him every time he explodes into arenas as a 1/300 favorite over bums. Now he's fighting Welterweights and is still going to sell tickets because as previously mentioned, he has one of the biggest batch of simple minded imbecilic morons supporting him.

When true all-time greats the likes of Leonard, Hearns, Duran, Pacquiao, Mayweather, RJJ, Toney...etc couldn't find fights, they moved up to make them. They could've easily taken the Golovkin route of milking their popularity by fighting bums in one division while making nonsensical excuses about not finding fights.

 

i suppose you can draw parallels to hagler vs srl maybe or even duran, but being a fan of ggg that can see his resume is dog **** it will be good to see him get a credible name. Who knows kell might come out and shock the world..
