    Golovkin stops both comfortably.

Froch is now turned into a ducker and wants to fight Chavez Jr who is limited. The only problem is he can't fight him because he has legal issues with Bob Arum.

Froch is on the decline and Ward has been very inactive. Which may have affected him.

Carl Froch has fought one elite guy in Andre Ward. So it's you who is talking rubbish.

One elite guy in Andre Ward. Lucian Bute was a hypejob. Out of prime Kessler beat Froch.

Ward has a suspect chin he's been down against Darnell Boone and Kenny Kost.

Ok name me all the elite guys Froch has faced.

    Groves? Not elite sorry.

    Old Johnson? Nope.

    Andre Ward? Yes

    Lucian Bute? Nope, not really.

Kessler? Out of prime and never was really elite.

Andre Dirrell? Who i thought beat him. He might be considered to have elite level skills but never was confirmed by his resume.

Carl Froch's fans don't take too kindly to criticism. The truth bothers them a lot.

He's asked Eddie Hearn if he thinks Golovkin is really as good as they say. Froch doubts himself and is scared to fight him. Who has Froch fought with Golovkin's skills and power to go with it?

Uh, nobody. Only Andre Ward in the skills department and he got thoroughly outclassed.

Please go back to the general forum, you are a total gimp and sound like a broken record. Golovkin will never fight Froch, his team know he is not big enough. Put Golovkin in a ring of that size with Froch and there is only one winner.

I know you are in love with Golovkin, but your actually driving people away from him with your obsessive ramblings. Go get some sleep.

The truth hurts. Your boyfriend big nose Froch is ducking Golovkin. Golovkin's team said he will move up. So we'll see then.

Froch has ducked Degale, Hopkins and will try to duck Golovkin.

I totally agree, whilst I would love to see Froch turn round and call him out, I don't think either party want it equally as much for various reasons.

I think you have just shown your age / mental age with that boyfriend comment.

I think you are an actual re**** and I am going to ignore your infantile/ ****erotic comments from now on.

I've been saying it for a while now, but I believe if GGG was to go up to 168 to fight Froch, Froch would beat him.

I rate GGG big time, I think he's absolutely superb. He reminds me of a bigger version of Kostya Tsyzu the way he stalks and cuts the ring off - then has that hammer of a right hand + the timing to go with it.

But everyone banging on about his power and how he would knock Froch out, who's to say his power carries the same weight at 168???? Especially against a man who is seemingly made of steel like Froch?

Ok - so Groves put him down in the first fight. That was a massive shot he walked into, after swinging his own shot and also with it being in the first round you can make the case that he was 'caught cold' as they say. Let's not forget a few people in the know have mentioned Groves putting GGG down in sparring 6 or 7 months ago...

Watching that fight against Murray last night (who showed ***** of steel btw), Golovkin looked the much smaller man but his ability to close the ring off, accuracy when throwing, shot selection & power was top draw. But could he do the same to Carl Froch, an even bigger, stronger man, with underrated boxing ability of his own, who's been in with the best, can take a shot & can bang himself - that is the question and I'm not sure he could.

Gun to my head, I'm going with Froch.

Froch has declined. He's not the same guy who stopped Bute.

Froch when he faces elite boxers he struggles. He struggled with Andre Dirrell even though he won.

And the rumours were that Golovkin broke Grove's ribs.

Golovkin looked in good shape while Murray was carrying water weight.

I'd fancy Froch to beat him, simple as.

How can you compare Andre Dirrell and GGG, completely different types of fighters.

No the rumours were GGG broke Groves ribs, but also that Groves put him on his ****.

    Ok we'll see then.

Obviously they're both different kinds of fighters but skill wise theyre on a similar level. They both fought in the ams.

I've not heard that Groves put Golovkin down in sparring which sounds dubious. If you have any proof then provide the links that someone in the know has said it.

Froch is past it and gets beat simple as.

It was being reported and discussed on numerous websites + forums around the time along with the story of GGG busting GG's rib.

Spencer Fearon also discussed it in interviews and podcasts.

I can't be ****d searching through links, a simple google search and you can read + judge for yourself.

Great comparison with kosta tyszu. He reminds me of him at times. Just more menacing and stalkerish. Also remember groves has very good power. Froch struggles with speed mostly. I dont even like watching him. But if i was him last nite i d be picking up the phone to eddie hearn today. Its a big ask....but golvokin doesnt have the speed of dirrell, taylor even groves. And the height, reach and weight all lie in frochs favour.

I think Froch is almost the ideal fighter to beat Golovkin, but that was at his peak. Froch to me has declined a lot (as you would expect from a fighter who has been in so many wars) and I don't think he can withstand Golovkin onslaught for 12 rounds now and he probably feels the same himself, as he seems to have no interest whatsoever in fighting GGG.

Looks like he will need to go to SMW just to get a fight as he is being avoided like the plague

Carl has been great no doubt about it , but for me , does get a tad overated due to big wins against some semi shot fighters.

It needs to be remembered that Carl was outboxed and dropped by a pretty fragile middle in Taylor.

Now GGG is not only a better boxer than Taylor h is also equally quick and hits 10 times harder.

I can actually see Carl being stopped in about 6 rounds.

I think your probably right madpuppy. still think its a great oppertunity for froch tho. As great as golvokin was last nite i think hes beatable. Only by a bigger man tho. I ve got a feeling froch will fancy it now. I think its hard to tell with froch tbh...i think groves made him look bad at times...but i just think groves much like taylor etc would always make froch look bad. But looking at his age ring wars etc it probably doesnt bode well
