Clev gets stick but he's far slicker than Groves and at 175 he's a bigger puncher. I don't think Groves would be able to hurt him any way.

Is he a bigger puncher though? Groves would be even more powerful at lh but I would be concerned about how his chin holds up. Would be a good fight is my point anyway. Not one sided by any means

Clev is a world champion and GG failed 3x
Clev fights in a higher weight division at that
Most fighters don't increase power going up in weight, they either stay relative or lose power. GG might be an exception and if he did he might lose his speed which is his greatest asset. Clev is quicker than him as well imo.

Eubank Jr tweeting GGG saying "sign the contract" absolutely reeks of them asking for a LOT of money and then saying GGG didn't want the fight. Maybe I'm being cynical

Anyway, I've said it many times and will echo what has been said already: this is about levels. Jr does have faster hands than GGG, but so do most of the people he fights. More to the point, timing beats speed every time and a great technical fighter like GGG has great timing. He doesn't have the power to hurt GGG (Stevens and Lemieux hit harder and neither really so much as made him blink) and Jr's chin is untested beyond domestic level. I noticed it a lot in the Doran fight; his balance is shocking and it's usually from throwing that lead uppercut. GGG will sit on his jab and when Jr starts throwing haphazard shots like that, he'll get countered and hurt.

Its just publicity. Ben weider said in the early days of promoting bodybuilding.
Throw shiet at the wall and most people stand there admiring it. He meant talk rubbish and people listen. Look how far he took bb

From what I've read, Sr wants some sort of extra cut from PPV numbers for their team or something like that. So if the fight doesn't get made, he'll blame Sky and Sky will blame him.

Watch Adama hurt GGG in the 5th and push him into retreat mode. I'm a HUGE fan of GGG like most, but someone at elite level will beat him. I wouldn't put it past Eubank Jr to dig in and get the job done.

I've always thought Cleverly v Froch would have been an excellent fight.
