Who would've won Prime for Prime? Even though Golden boy lost to B.hop, he was old then

Oscar was not in his prime at 160. And even if he were, 3G beats him there. 160 simply wasn't Oscar's weight

De La Hoya was no MW, i thought Sturm beat him and i think GGG would stop him inside the distance.

Even when he was washed up he gave prime Floyd a great fight. We've seen Canelo whoop GGG, Oscar may have done same

Sturm getting robbed was already in the books. They had to make Goldy v Hops

I think the Sturm fight is the biggest blemish on Oscar's record. As other's have said, Oscar was a pound-for-pound legend and looked solid at 154, but 160 was completely different

I have a personal belief that the jump from 147 to 160 (154 sort of muddles this) is one of the most significant in boxing as I believe styles change drastically. Of course you get power-punchers at lightweight and movers at light heavyweight... but I stick to my beliefs. Once you hit middleweight the sport changes a little. The next jump is heavyweight. I really mean this

Canelo couldn't even whoop him when he was forty. Canelo was sweating bullets the last four rounds.

I think Oscar gets a bit underrated at MW. Sure, he looked crap against Sturm and lost that fight imo. But he looked like a different fighter against Hopkins and looked in much better shape to me. I thought Oscar did very well in the early going and boxed about as smart as I've ever seen him do. That version of De La Hoya would give GGG all he could handle.

Easy pick Oscar was never a middle facing a very aggressive GGG we all remember him facing Hopkins pounding the canvas in agony.

Oscar was more complete overall. But I didn't see it was at 160.

Oscar in his prime ran and refused to engage with Trinidad in the last 6 rounds. He’d try to run from GGG for 12 rounds, only to get hunted down get knocked out in the mid rounds.
