Golovkin and N'Dam were ranked #1 and #2 in the WBA in 2010. After Sturm ducked Golovkin and refuse to fight his #1 mandatory the WBA issued a new WBA regular title with N'Dam and Golovkin supposed to fight for it but N'Dam refused, his reward for ducking was a WBA interm belt (oh WBA). from 2010-2012 he back out of 2 more attempted unifications with Golovkin and when the WBA finally forced the issue he gave up his interm belt rather than unify with Gennady.

He then pulled some equally shameful, conniving tactics to duck Pirog and get a WBO interm belt which was eventually upgraded to full status without even having to fight for a vacant belt after Pirog got stripped for attempting to unify with Golovkin which didn't take place due to him getting injured.

N'Dam, Strum and apparently Geale have all taken ducking to a new level, a god damn artform. My point is don't expect N'Dam to fight Golovkin anytime soon.

GGG easily....Andy Lee I think could beat Chavez in a rematch though.

What happened to the St Pat's day fight between Lee and Macklin Di Bella was supposed to set ?

He's not putting Martinez in there with Golovkin but it's ok for Lee ?

Sergio Mora would be a better option but not Truax, did you see Truax's last fight? Lee is better than Caleb Truax but he's still not great.

I rather see him go to war with James Kirkland .

    June/July/August.

Fat Dan reports that Kirkland will be fighting on the Golovkin-Lee undercard with the understanding that winners would meet in the summer. HBO probably thinks the high ratings they were going to get for Golovkin-Kirkland will be even more jacked up after they fight on the same card.

Then hopefully it's Martinez or Chavez Jr to end the year. Geale is likely out of the picture now.

Yep that would be one of there biggest money makers thius whole year with GGG-Kirkland.

For Kirkland though, he should fight at 160 on the undercard or people gonna be hating big time that GGG is fighting somebody coming up

I'm well aware of the shameful history of N'Dam. However he was on record for saying he would've accepted the originally rejected offer made to Stevens. HNN has a fight Feb. 15th, likely another scrub, but two tune up fights might be enough to convince HBO brass he's a suitable opponent. He had a big and entertaining fight in NY with Quillin.

Given both Kirkland & Geale have declined the April fight, Murray is completely out of the picture, Lee may try to push some hard bargaining to get more money for his execution. I'm really not satisfied with Andy as the opponent and think atleast with HNN we'd see another dimension to GGG. Both Martinez & Ward are going to bring hand speed, movement and angles, it's probably a good idea to have GGG fight someone who brings a bit of that.

Ann Wolfe didn't think the time was right for the fight.

By having them both on the same card though, HBO ratings would be pumped up in preparation for their fight in the summer. More money for all involved, especially Kirkland if he's being lowballed... I think GGG opponents will start to get something close to 500K soon enough, considering the GGG ratings for 2013.
