While it's true Golovkin has a more consistent jab than Hopkins, Hopkins didn't use his jab in the traditional sense. While it's a punch he had in his arsenal as shown in the Tito fight more often than not he utilised his lead hand like RJJ and Mayweather, 2 other fighters who could jab when they wanted to but often chose not to.

Hopkins like them used his lead hand to illicit reactions out of his opponent to figure them out and to also take away his opponents jab which made it hard for their opponents to gauge distance which in part is why all these 3 guys were so elusive.

So Golovkin being consistent with the jab doesn't mean much when Hopkins isn't really trying to use his jab in the old way Golovkin does, Hopkins is using a more evolved method of boxing, boxing has evolved beyond the old jab based style. Look at how Ward/Kovalev fights played out. Kovalev has the more consistent jab than Ward, out jabbed Ward in both fights, but also lost both fights.

B-hop was too negative, GGG would have out-worked him and had a great variety of punches.

Yes, because GGG's name is so massive, the greatest fighter of all-time needs help from a farce who's biggest win is Welterweight Kell Brook to get recognition. Mental illness seems mandatory to be a Golovkin fan.

Beating GGG at middleweight would have been amazing.

Bhop wins this UD. I don’t see anyone cracking GGG’s chin however. That chin is made from alien material that fell to this planet.

Maybe I'm nitpicking here, but both Ward Kovalev fights were controversial.

Haven't heard anybody that got in the ring with GGG call him a one trick pony. Maybe you should give him a go.

Roach created a stir and it was all over the internet. It was Golovkins name put with Manny and it went viral. The proof is in the pudding. Even you can't get it out of your head.:risas3:

Nobody beat him in the pro's, so it would be quite a accomplishment.
