GGG vs BJS, 10th June 2017, Astana, Kazakhstan.......Will it happen?

So far as I understand it should happen.

The money that will be offered in Astana are big, bigger than anything GGG received at the moment, so there is no reason to happen for it. Unification in home country, historical event, expo 2017 and big money on a table.

And as far as I understand it will happen on 17th of June. But there is no clarity in that, also people don't want to share the reasons for delay...

 

I still think it's the best fight for bjs... hope it happens

 

I dont think that it will happen because as you said its too close to Jacobs fight and also too close to eventual Canelo fight in September ? Impossible schedule.

Also i felt it too that Golovkin is weak in his last few fights and may be struggles to make 160 now ? I know that Jacobs was heavier in that last fight but Jacobs is younger also and may be has no issues making 160.But for me Golovkin struggles last 1-2 years to make 160,and please dont tell me that he walks around 170 and that he made 170 limit like 12 hrs before the bout for IBF title ,he is drained in my view,barely anyone mentioned it before/after the last fight but its my opinion at least.

I dont want to use it as excuse for his performance...but may be its time to fight Canelo or Saunders or both and move up,Abel Sanchez mentioned something bout moving up after the fight also.

 

I'm a huge ggg fan. I like watching him more than any fighter in the world right now. But...I've been defending him in the Canelo farce, debating with my friends that ggg, Sanchez, loeffler have all stated the goal is to unify the belts at 160. In my opinion he would make mince meat of Saunders. To let that fight slip...to not unify in front of his country...to chase the $$$ rather than legacy (how much $$$ does he need?) - would be a slap in the face to a fan like me. In saying that I'd still buy his fights - I just wouldn't defend him to those who prefer Canelo

 

Easier said than done but I also hope he takes the BJS fight... Canelo will come May 5, 2018!

 

I don't give a fck about Canelo. He has no chance against Genady, and BJS should be picked instead. However, if GGG really does need a break, being 35 and having an incompetent trainer, I won't object. Let him rest up and smash whomever he is fighting in september.

 

1.(Timing) Golvin wants to fight 3 times this year. I don't think that Golovkin has much weight problem's or was drained in the Jacobs fight. One of the problems he had with Jacobs was simply the weight advantage Jacobs had cause of cheating.

2.(Confidence) Golovkin ko'ed better southpaws before. Monroe Jr for example.

3. (Money) In my opinion Chavez Jr will knock the s**t out of Canelo in May and the fight is dead anyway. Also with Canelo's ducking history there is no guarantee the fight will happen even when Canelo wins.
Golovkin should go for the Saunders fight grab the last belt and sit back and wait for Chavez Jr or if the upset happens see if Canelo tries to escape to 168 or finally grow some b**ls and stops f*****ing around and gives the fans what they want.

 

Agree with all bar being beaten by BJS...On his last performance he needs to hold out for the best purse possible because that title is getting ripped off him by anyone world class...He looked finished last time out ring rust or not he was terrible
