Definitely some visible animosity from both of them.

You'd struggle to hide that roid chin even with a plastic bag

If you could see their feet youd see Ginger standing on tippy toe to try to make up for his short stumpy legs LOL He don't look scarey to me but now just look at Gennadiys eyes. Cold Ice Cold

The guy that scared me was Max, Gennadiy's brother. That ice cold scare he used to give Oscar had him wetting himself & hoping he never got his hands on him

never considered canelo as a handsome man, but he cuts a manly profile. prominent forehead and chin, high cheekbones and a square jaw. a face built for war. makes g's chin look a little weak.
i would love for this to be a classic. both men leaving it all in there to try and win. but i dont see anything outside of hope and stars aligning, to suggest it will be as competitive as the first 2. g has not gotten better, while canelo demonstrably has. at least by choice of opposition.
if this was at 160 i would give g a chance. cause it seems when fighters drop down in weight after putting on lbs successfully, it dont go well. they lose their punch resistance. and im sure g will hit just as hard, if not more, than he ever has. but canelo is at peak weight. the difference in speed is going to be noticeable. its gonna make g look like his timing is off.
ive posted already how i think canelo should fight this one. but i dont think hes going to fight that fight. i think this is a schoolyard call out for canelo. not business or sport, he wants to beat this mans ass. force some respect from him. could backfire.

If anything I think Canelo has gotten provably worse since moving up to 168. His competition is quite weak, inexperienced and seemingly all afraid to fight one another. Canelo peaked back at 160 when he took on actual good, even great boxers like Jacobs and of course the two GGG fights. He was more dedicated, often made adjustments to get the upper hand and generally he put on masterclass displays from what he gained after the Mayweather fight.

To sum that up, if we see the typical Canelo of 168 coming into the fight with GGG thinking he can just fancy head dodge everything while spamming power shots, he's going to gas and end up getting another beatdown.

yeah, that makes sense. all the great fighters at 160 deciding to stick to 160 when they can make more money and more legacy by knocking over the weak 168 division speaks volumes about them. they dont make em like that anymore. even the promise of becoming the first fighter ever to unify 168, couldnt tempt them. real heros. luckily theres enough food at 160 that they never have to squabble over a plate. plenty of cans for everyone to pass around.

Canelo cannot set a higher tempo at 168lbs like he used to at the lower weights against smaller opponents.

The lack of a weight cut might help GGG quite a bit.

However I still pick Canelo UD but via a much slower fight.
