GGG vs CANELO is closer to 50/50 then most think.

Depends, if Canelo somehow survives 12 round then it flips quickly to 100/0

Golvokin has zero chance on the cards. They will already be filled out, Canelo just needs to get his best running shoes on and let GBP and the judges do the rest.

Personally I think Golovkin stops him mid to late but Canelo is a slow starter so I wouldn't rule out a quick night for Golovkin.

    Either way Golovkin stops him.

To call Murray or Lemieux mediocre is disingenuous and you know it. Sure they aren't elite P4P fighters but come on now.

Debating with Golovkin fans is a pointless endeavour theyre convinced he's the greatest thing ever and no argument about styles or comp will be honestly asset.

What have either done to show they aren't mediocre?

Golovkin is going to outbox Canelo with ease and win every round up to the knockout.

Yet these people say "Lemieux would be a good test for Canelo at the full 160 limit"

What's the point if he is a total bum? What test?

These people are full of contradictions, they hate Golovkin, don't rate anybody he has fought and want him beaten.

Does a Porsche actually have to be in a sanctioned race with a school bus before you can believe a Porsche is faster than a bus?

Or do you have enough intelligence to watch both in action, and then be able to determine which has more performance?

People think Golovkin is going to stand in the pocket with Canelo and go to war. That's not going to happen unless Canelo's power is seriously so overrated that GGG walks him down.

I expect GGG to fight him the same way as he did with Lemieux. Use the jab. Not cut the ring off, but keep turning Canelo and use his footwork to stay just out of range of Canelo's punches. Then, by round four, step up the pace, start cutting the ring, and wearing Canelo down until the fight is called off.

It took till round 5 for Lemieux to go down, but I expect Canelo to go down earlier. Maybe round 3. So, Lemieux's fight lasted 8. I'd expect the Canelo fight to last around 5 or 6.

Saved me the effort of typing all that ^

Canelo's best chance is to try push GGG back and turn it into an inside war. If he keeps it at range it will get very ugly. Expect highlight pictures of blood and sweat flying off Golovkin's shots in that case. Golovkin may try to establish his power early like he did with Stevens, to avoid precisely that scenario.

GGG is a modern day Hagler with an iron chin. His chin will be tapped but I see a Geale ko after Canelo leaves himself open.
    Round 6 for G
Believe me, I will be watching. First couple of rounds will be a war

    Witty retort full of insight.

I say I favor golovkin in this match slightly. yet I'm a "moron" for pointing out his resume and saying it will be closer then what most are thinking? Yeah ok.

Bus & porshe is an exaggeration.

Alligator vs horse is a better metaphor for the 2.
Who wins? Depends on the distance. (Alligator is faster in a 50 yd dash)
Who is the alligator who is the horse...how long will it go...Only time can really tell.
Neither have had the test that stands in front of them.

    What wrong with being objective?

I agree about quality of opponents but then Canelo has been fighting largely smaller fighters

Isn't GGG more of a pressure fighter I think Canelo will display his counter punching and defensive skills if this fight happens

Canelo is a cakewalk for GGG. It's 50/50 in the first round, then 60-40 in round 2. By the time you get to round 4 it's 80-20 in GGG's favor. Round 5 and it's lights out for Canelo.

More like 95/5 in GGG favour. Golovkin his harder, has better skills, stronger, bigger, taller and an iron chin. The only thing Canelo has over GGG is handspeed. He has no way of winning, not by points (short of robbery) nor KO.
