I got Canelo when the fight takes place, too much speed too much defense for GGG, I do think the boxing needs to recover angle is over blown, Canelo-Khan did 5/600k Canelo-Smith did 300, which are pretty good numbers.

The sport right now doesn't have any real stars outside of Canelo and a faded Pacquiao, which is why some of the PPVs this year did what they did. there was no passing of the torch so these guys have to make there own name to become a draw.

It'll probably be a year or 2 before we have another bona fide star, guys need to start making fights only then will it happen.

Us fans are trying to force ppl into thinking a fighter they like is some huge name, the only way to become that guy is the fight the fights, there's never been a PPV star that didn't have the fights to back it up, which is why Alvarez right now is the most popular fighter he's fought the fights up to this point none of these other guys have been willing to do what's needed.

:risas3: Cocaine O$car's 10 million $$$ offer has been debunked by...

    1. Other boxing promoters

    2. Other Boxers

    3. Knowledgeable experts

:clapclap: Yet we still have Canelo NUTHUGGERS still spouting this nonsense...

    BRU HAA HAAA !

This fight ever happening is only about 50/50 and spiraling down rapidly.

:risas3: Most experts agree that O$car's offer was a SHAM !!!

It would be a great shot in the arm for boxing if the fight happens any time soon.

If it is at the 160 pound limit, like it should be, GGG will continue on his unbeaten run without too much fuss.

Golovkin isn't Manny or Floyd and for all the flack given about the 40mil offer, when the fight was first talked about in 09" both fighters were only guaranteed 25mil a piece, 40mil a year and a half later was double what they would have made originally, what they ended up making was mind blowing.

Manny and Floyd were both once a generation, mega talents who's past accomplishments were the reason there fight was so anticipated and eventually why it did what it did. GGG isn't neither is Alvarez, Golovkin doesn't have the resume or accomplishnents or fanbase to say 10mil isn't enough, Alvarez has more cache but he isn't the megastar that they were either this fight isn't a 2mil PPV at best it might just barely top Canelo-Cotto at 1mil.
There is no rational reason other than the fight doing way better than any reasonable person can expect that makes 10mil a bad deal. ppl complain about fighters getting 1mil being overpayed yet will argue 10mil isn't good enough for a guy with no notable wins to speak of .

:risas3: I don't think the people who were laughing at GBP's "OFFER" said that GGG/Canelo compare to Manny/Mayweather... so I don't see this being an "ISSUE" !

What the EXPERTS did say was that GBP's offer was a "LOW-BALL" and went on to question how sincere O$car was in wanting to "make the fight".

:bandit: The "QUESTION" about the 10 million dollar offer... has been reviewed and concluded to be BOGUS by most KNOWLEDGEABLE experts. Only a few die-hard Canelo fans consider that offer to be "reasonable".

Dude if it makes the fight then who cares from my stand point I've seen plenty of 1mil PPVs where guys didn't make 10mil, this fight probably won't break 1mil, so really 10mil is a gift. Golovkin is babied by the media so anything that isn't his way people come up with an excuse, but in reality the Biggest Fight stuff as an excuse for why a dude can't take a payday bigger stars in bigger fights didn't even make is ridiculous. If Alvarez vs Golovkin does 500k it'll be the biggest selling fight right now. I'm not here to argue about who should get what but to act like a payday that only real megastar get like Manny, Cotto, Wlad,Floyd,Hoya get isn't enough for a guy who quite frankly has done nothing to be looked at on that level is more ridiculous to me.

guys who I can recall have made that much were actual true superstars, the only fight GGG could get on American PPV is vs Canelo, which tells me he ain't a star and 10mil is a gift. you may not agree out of fandom but that is real talk for you.

the more time goes by the more the fight goes in canelos favor, i see canelo winning a ward type decision, canelo gets wobbled and or dropped early then steals the later rounds to win a close controversial decision. canelo is growing into his prime, ggg is on the decline and will not be able to easily make 160 for much longer. i also believe ggg's chin will be on the decline, he gets hit flush too often.

    :risas3: Hhmmmm... so in conclusion..

    1. Your mind is made up... even though GBP's "OFFER" (All three of them) have been discredited !

    2. Don't confuse you with facts... Though the sincerity of GBP "wanting the fight" is... "QUESTIONED" !

    3. All the Knowledgeable Experts are WRONG, you of course are right !

    4. This is a FAIR OFFER... even though creditable sources have labeled it a "LOW-BALL" !

    5. You simply know more than anyone else does... even those Boxing Experts who make a living from the sport.

:clapclap:Enjoy... being a legend in your own mind.
