GGG Vs Canelo September 17th ?

    I can't believe Canelo will step in the ring 4 months after his fight against Bivol. That would be crazy. I think the fight will be postponed to later during late fall/winter. What do you think ?

    Also if that happens, do you think the short time between the two fights and the fact Canelo has to lose weight will play in favor of GGG or is GGG just too old now anyway?

    That was a pretty brutal beating that a lot of fighters would take a year off after, but I think the pride wound is hurting more and he's going to rush back into the ring to sort that out (if this really is a firmly established date, I haven't been following closely).

    I could see, given his state, he might be more prone to further injuries during camp so I could see that causing a delay.

    Here we go, the excuses coming already. If an old GGG happened to beat Ginger, lets start down playing it months in advance. You boys just aint right.

    Canelo took no damage, 4 months is a long time to recover from a routine fight

    He wasn't knocked down and he certainly didn't look seriously injured. Four months seems fine.
