I'd love to see this fight. In all honesty I have no interest in seeing the GGG-Canelo rematch. However, knowing GGG and his age I think he'd vacate rather than fight a puncher like Charlo, who is a much better fighter than Jacobs. Also, after that disgraceful mismatch Vanes GGG deserves to get railroaded by the WBC.

This can be a good matchup. Charlo can challenge GGG perhaps better than how Canelo did.
    I will pick GGG UD

    GGG won’t fight Charlo ever
    Too late in the game
Charlo would have to at least beat Jacobs

Hmm. So they went trough all the trouble with IBF only to fight Charlo, another mandatory, in the end ? Sure, he brings more money than Sergey but.... really?
I’ll wait for an announcement from team GGG, not impressed by their latest actions.

Yes, Oscar owns the WBC.....................Golovkin is not a cripple as Charlo will find out, but he should not be mandatory because he beat a cripple who could hardly walk.....................What would happen if Golovkin were to fight a cripple?!

That was my initial thought when I saw the thread title. They know he's also due defending the IBF belt, and this way he'd lose at least one by not accepting the Canelo fight, completely destroying the change of total unification with politics.
If he was planning to fight Saunders for the missing WBO strap now, he would normally have become undisputed, but with current politics in place it would probably mean losing two belts to gain one.
Also, honoring the IBF defence will cost him the WBC strap and vice versa.

Also pretty sure that if Golovkin loses the WBC strap, they'll find a way hand it to Canelo, instead of the winner between Charlo and Jacobs or Andrade.

Much better fighter than Jacobs? How can you say that? That clown charlo hasn't fought anybody! I see him more as Errol Spence's sparring partner than a world class fighter.
