Don't forget that they still needed to rob GGG in the rematch even though he had one foot in his grave and Clen The Ginger Clenbuterol Hen was juiced to high heaven.

Scored first one for G Scored second one for Canelo Ive only seen the rematch once. Enough respectable people have legitimately tried explaining to me how G won the second fight that I feel it deserves a rewatch on my part, but at the time, I had it a close but clear Canelo win.
Both fights were close. Any close cards are ok. It does feel weird, overall, that GGG never won one though.
Fanatic checking in. Thanks for being honest. I don't like Canelo at all, but have to tip my hat to his skills. Edit, fwiw I had both fights 8-4 to Golovkin. These are both top shelf fighters with tremendous conditioning and chins. I used to be dismissive of Canelo but he's proved me wrong, he has grown as a fighter since his 154 days. I felt GGG basically outworked Canelo and that Canelo simply doesn't have an answer for Golovkin's metronome-like jab. I have to concede that Canelo looks like a million bucks in his bursts of action - but - when you actually sit down and score the fights Golovkin is winning all the time in between Canelo's flurries. At this point I feel ginger will likely win a third fight fair and square; GGG didn't look his usual self since starting with Banks who along with his age, seems to have been bad for him.
