Land once on past it or average fighters, he struggled to get most top fighters he faced out of there, and frequently couldn't.
Hearns at his peak couldn't get DeWitt out of there - Nigel did. Julian Jackson couldn't get McClellan out of there - Nigel did. Robbie Sims had fought everyone and never gone down or stopped - Nigel knocked him out with one punch. Barkley was taken off his feet three times in the first. And that shot against Dan Sherry might be the best one-punch knockout I've seen.
I said "most" didn't I? I never said he didn't have power, it just wasn't as frightful as most make it out to be.
I think benn ggg would be good while it lasted but I think his wrecklessnes could be his undoing.I'd give eubank more of a shot
Same thing I was thinking, it would end like the Geale match ended. GGG is far too accomplished a counter puncher for Benn's recklessness to not be badly exploited. Eubank would make it competitive for a few rounds, and be worn down and stopped.
GGG by mid to late round stoppage. bank was such a good counter puncher, nobody really punished him to the body. GGG would of as he had the chin and heart to take the punches. Remember the iron chinned CE was weak to sustained body attacks. If Benn had a chin like GGG he'd of beat Eubank every time.
Eubank was a solid, big Middleweight. The guy fought at Cruiserweight. He also had good skills, decent power and one hell of a chin. I honestly can't see how GGG wins this fight.
He'd win as he's the superior fighter. His non stop activity would exhaust Chris. He wouldnt stop him though, unless through sheer exhaustion
