Ggg vs eubank of Benn 1 fight

No version of eubank would have a hope against ggg. Different class completely.

 

NOBODY stops Eubank Sr at MW, NOBODY pure granite chin. He was very beatable though and GGG might win by PTS against but stop him? No way.

I agree that Golovkin most likely stops Benn though.

 

I'd favour Eubank at his best to beat Golovkin by decision. Golovkin hasn't fought anyone half as good as Eubank. While Eubank has proven himself against the biggest punchers.

Eubank was at his best when fighters came at him, Benn, Wharton etc, he preferred to be in the role of the counter puncher and Golovkin would accommodate him in that regard. It's not a great style match up for GGG.

Golovkin's greatest weapon is his power, it's nullified by Eubank's chin, if a huge one punch KO artist at cruiser like Thompson couldn't stop him other than by an injury, Golovkin isn't going to.

Golovkin is too easy to hit, Eubank punished Benn with those straight rights and he'd do the same with Golovkin, he'd have no problem finding his chin.

Golovkin's best chance is to out work Eubank and win a decision but I think he'll struggle to subdue Eubank like he's used to, this version of Eubank wasn't the one later on who could be lazy or fade, this version would not be easily overwhelmed. Eubank will persist, take GGG best shots and fire back, he'll steal rounds and punish GGG for his lackadaisical defence and win a decision.

 

Anyone who thinks Golovkins stops Eubank either hasn't seen him or simply dksab. Benn hit at least as hard as Golovkin and he couldn't move Eubank and Golovkin wouldn't either.

 

If Curtis Stevens can rock Golovkin and hurt him then Eubank and Benn can, too. Both far superior fighters to Curtis Stevens.
