GGG vs Floyd is a little too much to ask far.

I don't see the problem with asking for the fight. It's a fight that a lot of people would definitely be interested in.

 

Thats right its too much for an ordinary welterweight. But not too much for someone who calls himself TBE. You need to prove it by doing things that would be far fetched and unexpected.

 

If the fight came off I'd tune in but GGG fans are some b!tches whining about a Mayweather fight(who's in his 4/5 division) when they cry about GGG moving up 1 division.

 

At 154 it's still an attractive fight. I give Floyd a chance to beat GGG if he fights the way he did with Manny. Staying on the outside, clinching on the inside and out point Golovkin over 12 rounds......He just better not eat anything flush from GGG.

 

GGG would beat TBE up so bad it will look like an "exposure" but really it would just be a much better fighter (Trip G) beating up a good fighter who up till then avoided dangerous prime fighters and fights. He would lose the zero that he should have lost Castillo 1.

 

The fact that folks are asking for this fight, just tells you how great Floyd really is.

 

It's too much for a loud mouth over rated cherry picker. GGG is offering to drop one division to fight Floyd not asking Floyd to move up. Floyd obviously isn't anything that he claims if he can't beat a man in his own weight class. If they both make the weight the fight is fair.

He doesn't rehydrate to 175 from 160. Why would he do it from 154 ?

 

To be fair, Floyd is a welter who has never fought at 154 (only 152).

They would meet in the middle which sounds fair to me. That would be similar to GGG fighting a LHW like Kovalev/Beterbiev/Stevenson at 168.

Floyd's daddy did say that he ain't fighting any "damn giant" though.

 

Floyd has a longer reach than GGG.

And according to him and his team, it's skills that pays the bills, not size.

This kind of thing is what separated the greatest of the ATG's from the rest.

I give Floyd a pass mainly because of his age. If he was at least 5 or 6 years younger, than I think this fight could seem more realistic.

I'm expecting him to take on Danny Garcia for September, rematch pacman next year on HBO, than retire 50-0.
