HBO doesn't want this fight for GGG, they don't want one of their upcoming cash cows to potentially be derailed, if anyone in the vicinity of GGG can do it its Froch. HBO made their ***** move of making Froch look scared and then turn around and say it not PPV worthy, a little contradictory, Froch deserves more respect than HBO is giving him lately.
If GGG ends up fighting Rubio and Chavez has said no, i wonder how people will react to him fighting Degale
I think you are wrong, HBO did what they did to provoke Froch fight I think that should be obvious really. HBO might want him to win, but they know a guy like GGG without built in fanbase doesnt become a PPV cash cow unless he can beat guys like Froch in big fights. HBO wants the fight, they think he can win. HBO probably doesnt want a Ward fight, not necessarily because he might lose but because it might be a boring fight. Froch-GGG would be a war and HBO wants it as much as anyone.
Maybe your right, but I was fresh off of watching Froch Groves2 again, and was re-annoyed by their overwhelming pro Groves bias in the commentary. But I do think HBO is apprehensive about putting GGG in with Ward or Froch too soon.
Golovkin Vs. Froch would be good fight. Chavez/Froch would be huge fight, great brawl........................Golovkin would knock Froch and Chavez out. Chavez backed out of a fight with Froch. Froch said he did not want to fight Golovkin. Soliman backed out of a fight with Golovkin, Cotto ran away from Golovkin even at 154 for a 160 lb. fight. Quillin ran away, Void refused to fight Golovkin at 154..................
I seriously doubt Froch is going to fight GGG, even if he wins the poll. That's too tough of a paycheck at this stage of his career.
