Ham Man would get savaged. He isn't dealing with the cobra spear like jab and corkscrew uppercut. Not with his useless defence and not with Froch's significant reach and height advantage . He'd be walking straight into prodding blows all night.
You need speed and angles to beat Froch.

Froch tbf is the type of style that might suit GGG, he's a mid range type fighter that likes to come forward and bang.

He's easy to hit and slow and was never considered a highly skilled fighter. The thing that makes it interesting is Froch is a big guy and he's super gritty and can bang very hard. I don't consider him a high output fighter but he has good stamina and gets stronger while most get weaker the longer the fight goes on

Even a 40yp Froch is a very good win (not as good as it would have been a couple of years ago though)

I am down for this fight much more than a Wade /Brook that's for sure but it seems very unlikely to happen.

I'll repeat it once again .

Demetrius Andrade vs . Triple G

That's the fight I want to happen .

Andrade would offer a much more difficult test compared to today's version of Carl Froch.

    We all know this .

If it would have happened shortly after Froch's bouts with Groves, I would have picked Froch to win at 168. But given Froch's retirement, the fight won't happen. If it did, I'd still pick Froch, provided the fight took place at 175, which it wouldn't. So again, the fight won't happen. But Froch is all wrong for Golovkin. Froch is bigger, he's stronger, he's better, and he's far more proven.

Bigger and stronger, yes. Better at eye test? No, you're just reaching here and you know it.

Well, it depends on what you mean by the "eye test". Froch has passed the eye test against a number of top level guys. Golovkin, not necessarily through fault of his own, has little to go by against top level guys because he really hasn't faced all that many, if any.

Froch can't top his victory at Wembley, so he won't risk it.

I'm just posting what I see. Loeffler directly talked to Hearn as you can see in the picture and said they're negotiating the fight. If he lies, he lies. My Initial question was what are the CHANCES of it happening and who you have winning. I don't fully believe it will happen because rumors of the negotiations have been around since 2015, but many fights we didn't believe would happen, have happened. Like I said anything can happen in boxing.
