And countless people wanted to argue with me endlessly saying Froch gets brutally KO'd by GGG. Silly ****ers.
From now on pretty much every G matchup I discuss will be prefaced with... *This fight depends on G's display against Jacobs being age related, or attributes related. If age, (which we will find out as G continues to fight. If his performances continue to be underwhelming even against fighters that cant punch as hard as Jacobs or are as big and physical as him, then his performance is probably age related) then I do think a 'prime' Golovkin could potentially beat Froch.... I would probably have it 55/45 for Froch to be honest. If how he fought against DJ was because a big strong powerful middleweight made him a bit gunshy, then the 50/50 fight turns into a 80/20 fight in favor of Froch imo.
GGG makes him Good Boy. But Froch would be more competitive than Jacobs while it lasted and he'd play by the rules at least
Well he looked menacing against wade and that wasn't long ago. But a mediocre opponent can conceal both slippage in a puncher infact it's hard to tell the difference from a good aggressive puncher and a great aggressive fighter when they're in against a mediocre opponent. Tyson still looked plenty capable against guys like Julius Francis when he wasn't half the fighter he once was. So I guess we'll have to see how he handles billy joe.
