I could see Groves stopping GGG late on, Groves would be the bigger man on the night too.

Saint George Groves vs. The Triple God, who you got?

Golovkin wins at worst he wins a decision against groves

Golovkin toyed with murray and stopped him

Murray went the distance with groves and came on very strong at the end

Murray himself said Golovkin was the better fighter

Golovkin has a better chin, better pressure, and better basic fundamentals than Eubank jr. George would certainly fade and GGG would stop him late.

It would be a good fight even though Groves has the natural size advantage I would still pick GGG to win by late stoppage just because I think that GGG is the better fighter.

GGG by KO. Groves makes it a very hard fight for him though. Would be a very good fight imo

Yes, the fight would have a kind of super-earthly battle between immortals type feel, until GGG sent pugilistic caveman Groves rolling around on the canvas in tears from a body shot in round 2.

I think even this form of Golovkin stops Groves. This fight would have to happen at 168 where Golovkin would be stronger than he currently is at 160.

They sparred in the past. Golovkin said groves has no power at all but is a good boxer.

+ average chin and average gas tank and mentally not the strongest guy => brutal ko by GGG

I think it could go either way but Id pick G by UD or SD. Really depends on how he fights and how he responds to Groves's underrated power.

60/40 in favor of G by competetive decision, imo.

It baffles me as to why people are so certain that Golovkin would stop Groves.

    What's this based upon?

We haven't even seen him fight at SMW yet.

We don't know how he'd fare with the extra weight.

We don't know how he'd handle a naturally bigger guy.

Hopefully we'll get to find out.

It would be the hardest fight of GGG's career, aside from BJS. It wouldn't shock me if Groves manages to drop him even, but ultimately GGG will wear down and brutally stop Groves along the ropes, Stevenson-Bellew style around the 9th.
