I think Froch would be very easy for GGG, easier than Groves for sure... Froch has a lot of power but GGG has one of if not the best chin in the last 20-30 years, Froch has very little skill and GGG would kill him with his jab

If that Collosal right hand from Canelo in the 9th didn't drop Golovkin... nothing else will, it didn't even faze him

Groves has enough power to keep everyone from just walking straight in. It’s very respectable against anyone including GGG imo

Thing is Groves punches noticeably harder than Canelo. Great shot off Canelo though all the same !

Groves doesn't hit hard, Canelo has one of the best one punch KOs in the game and that same right hand shot put two boxers in a coma, Groves has more consistent power but if I were to pick one of Groves and Canelo to punch me, I'd pick Groves

This. No1 at 160 doesn’t mean he’s the same at 168.. He’s slowed down some GGG, and who’s to say the extra weight does’nt slow him even more at 168....

Golovkin, likely a decision but a late stoppage wouldn't shock me. It'd be a tough night for him though, no doubt about that

Yeah, that was a beauty, but Groves is a full fledged Super Middleweight, with far more punching power than Canelo, most likely.

Lol disagree. Canelo is’nt a one punch man, unless the other fella has chin issues. Groves has a punch on him for his weight, not one shot for the 10 count, but it’s good. Add in the natural size difference and I would hazard a guess Groves gets the nod in a power shot

More consistent yes, but coming from the hips and with full body weight behind it, Canelo has more power, he has very good technique, he put so much in this punch his back foot lifted off the floor.

I think more than his power it would be Groves jab that could cause problems for GGG, both have terrific jabs but Saint has more reach than Golovkin... In my opinion Golovkin has the best jab of the the 21st century BUT he has slowed down in the last 2 years and Groves is a tricky customer with his jab, still it's a 65/35 GGG for me, can't see GGG getting dropped unless he moves up to heavyweight :D

i picked Groves on points btw. Reason is like you say, he's slowed down. He cant whip them body shots in slyly anymore without being obvious GGG. I also think he would find it harder to trap Groves long enough to do any damage, again down to his speed diminishing. Jab fest, and Groves is a good bit bigger naturally than GGG, and his is faster now. I would steer him away from Groves and BJS if the Unification wasn't on the line. I think the time has past for GGG to successfully unify imo

Canelo doesnt have 1 punch ko power, he knocked out 2 notoriously glassed chin fighters, 1 of them was knocked out in the first around against a featherfisted ishida and khan had no business fighting canelo at middleweight, groves hits far harder then canelo. I see him giving triple g problems in the earlier rounds, even rocking him. But ultimately ggg wears him down late and stops him. Imo
