at MW , 3G. at SMW.. not sure, probab gotta go with the proven SMW, but you'd not rule 3G being able to move up without issue.
Whoever voted for Groves by KO should be banned from any and all boxing sites. A decision is not out of the question, but FFS no one has even mildly hurt GGG much less KO'd him. Groves has punching power for sure...ask Froch/never mind don't ask Carl who is delusional ....but he's not KO'ing any version of GGG under 40 yrs of age.
well what we know for certain is that Froch called out GGG, GGG publicly accepted, and agreed to travel to the UK for the fight, but Froch refused the fight
i'm inclined to agree with you; on the other hand, if we were to start enforcing rules like this, after one week, we'd have maybe a dozen or so folks left on this Site
Way too many G's here However you have to give Golovkin the edge with his technique, power, and extra G
Yep! Froch knew his limitations. Carl knew he had a chance against Ward. Even with the fight being in that sleazbag Andre’s backyard like all those Super Six fights. But with GGG he knew it would end bad.
no froch was a proven elite when 3G had just won his first world title. there was no basis for a 3G win, only a 3G fight as an "easy retirement win" for froch against a guy with one title win. Still have been a decent fight though. of course now we know that 3g is an elite for real, its different. but saying froch knew his limitations, when its actually 3G who only just fought an elite, is ridiculous. Froch had clashed with many elites and legit titleholders by the time 3G had his first legit title fight.
Tough fight. It's very close for the first 7 or 8 rounds, Groves edges them by one or two. Groves has great movement, as we saw in the Eubank Jr fight last week. But he's no BJS when it comes to movement. I think of Groves more like Canelo, maybe a bit better in terms of movement. But he will tire after GGG's shots. Even at super-middleweight, I'd think that GGG would still have an outstanding chin and decent power. Groves' power isn't too important in this fight. He can tire GGG a bit with those shots, but it won't be enough to win in the later rounds. Groves will tire a bit more than GGG late on, and I think GGG edges the fight by 2 rounds. 7-5 to GGG, he claws back into a small lead at the end after being behind the whole fight.
