How do you see GGG versus Marvelous Marvin Hagler's opposition doing assuming he met these opponents on the similar stages of his career (i.e. slightly past prime against Mugabi and Leonard, probably Canelo rematch/Derevyanchenko version if GGG)?

I'd say Golovkin should be the favourite over all of Hagler's barring Leonard especially if it's a faded version of Golovkin.

I think Hearns was a bit too shaky at Middleweight and Golovkin would grind him down.

I think Duran vs Golovkin would be a good technical fight, it could be close especially if it's 12 rounds. Remember Duran would've beat Hagler on judges scorecards had it been a 12 rounder.

Would Golovkin also pick up a loss vs some of Hagler's opposition before he become champion ? there was a few tough fighters like Finnegan, Briscoe, Monroe, Seales, Hart, might be interesting vs a green Golovkin. Some of these fighters are better than some of Golovkin's title challengers in all honesty.

GGG was skilled but not as much as some people made him out to be. Not as much as Hagler imo. I think Duran from the Hagler fight could have outthought the Canelo 1 version of GGG. But GGG had more power than Hagler, so a KO is not outside possibility.

Except Leonard, I see GGG beating everyone else on Hagler's resume.

I think GGG does very well against Hagler title fight opponents. Does he beat them ALL? I don’t know

GGG beats all of them, except Leonard and maybe Hearns.

32 year old Golovkin was the T-Rex of the division.

32 year old Hagler was retired.

Seems to me Golovkin would do just fine, considering that Hagler had some of his hardest fights when he was green (and GGG had a huge amateur background to draw upon) and when he was old (and GGG really only started slowing down at around 36).

Another thing to consider is that Golovkin is significantly bigger than Hagler's opposition, basically a division or even 2 divisions up due to different weigh in rules. When you look at the guys from Hagler's day it always seems that they are faster than today's middleweights. That's because they are. They are lighter and speedier. But they are also a lot smaller. It's kinda unfair to pitch LHW GGG against these pipsqueaks ;)

GGG never weighed in over 170 pounds on fight night.

Hmm? I might take Duran to win a decision , Golovkin had a hard time finding Canelo and Duran would be far harder to hit . Duran slipped Haglers jab often and countered with rights, Hagler had a better jab than GGG so I think Roberto would nullify his jab .Hearns? I just feel that Tommy's durability might let him down later in the fight but it's not out of the question that Tommy could outbox him for a UD. Fact is Duran, Hearns or Leonard would be the best fighters Golovkin ever fought and I'd take all three to beat Canelo at 160 pounds

In a 12 rounder, Hearns could be favored slightly. A prime Leonard had trouble landing hard leather on him for 12 rounds despite his speed advantage and long reach. GGG is a lot slower (and somewhat more predictable), but if he got any opportunity like Leonard did in round 6 and 7, the fight would end there.

I imagine it would be similar results except for.....GGG would have beaten SRL, and Antuofermo 1......the similarities in styles matters but their two differences is GGG was a crisper puncher and mentality MMH was meaner but had an ego that saw him do silly things like try to prove he could outbox boxers like Duran and SRL ....other than that they are very similar
