He said he would go down to 168...his words not mine! I dont want to hear no more of this "GGG is god, and everyone ducks him" **** when theres guys like Lara and Hopkins calling his ass out...he will choose to fight Lasagna next rather then Hopkins or Lara? I'll call a duck a duck when i see one, and this is a plain duck:deal
I don't condone fighters ducking, but Einstein, it's not that complicated; one is 25 and will probably improve, one is 33 and is coming to the end of his rope, now which one should get more of a benefit of the doubt for "ducking"?
Being a Mayweaher addict like you are you'd be very familiar with a Ducker. No Mayweather fan can ever be allowed to call any other boxer a ducker Floyd Quack Quack Mayweatheratsch
I don't disagree with your main point, but I don't think your example works. Canelo isn't steering away from big fights - he landed another huge fight against Cotto, which is a far bigger fight than he'd get against GGG (not to mention far more risk).
Let's see where they steer Canelo after he rips that WBC belt off Cotto. Why did Canelo waste his time with Kirkland when GGG was available? Canelo, GGG n Cotto all fought a complete waste of time within a month of each other because 2 of those guys don't want to step up
Well, rightly or wrongly, in my opinion GGG represents extremely high risk and terribly low reward for someone like Canelo. In a perfect world, the winner of Cotto-Canelo should fight GGG, but that's not at all within the realm of realistic possibilities. At least as I see it. But I stand by my point. Cotto represents a huge fight for Canelo. GGG, not so much, especially considering the risk and the likelihood he would lose.
