GGG vs Jacobs POLL , who won?

You cannot compare both fights. Ward clearly lost the fight while GGG clearly won it. Why would US judges favor someone from Asia over the hometown fighter? It doesn't make any sense.

Yea that jab was the difference in a lot of the rounds GGG won IMO. They were snapping Jacob's head back. GGG was usually first also in majority of the rounds and more active. And GGG's d was great, he was stepping back, ducking, etc except for round 10 where it seemed he was baiting Jacobs to hit him, leading with his face and gloves at his ears instead of chin.

 

this poll is only so lopsided because hbo scored it for ggg. if it was the same fight but harold scored it for jacobs this poll would be lopsided for jacobs

 

Had Jacobs winning by a round... Going to rewatch and score again before voting.

 

I went with GGG winning.

Obviously this result is payback for Kovalev/Ward.

clear win in a close fight. Champion connected more with better % and had Jacobs down and hurt couple of times. Jacobs face was tells the story. Plus Jacobs didn't make the weight to even compete for IBF title. For that alone, he didn't deserve to win.

U can't compare this to kovalev - Ward. Kovalev was the champion, put Ward down and gave more hurt to his opponent.

That is true, the size without a doubt helped Jacobs take GGG punches. Canelo though is very good against pressure fighters like Golovkin its just a matter of whether he can take Golovkin's punches. I think if Canelo can take him the distance hes got a very good shot of winning. I could see him rattling off good combinations on Golovkin throughout but its a big if because he may crumble under GGG's power.

Close but clear for me. Judges scores (for what they count!) punch stats & Jacobs face (looked like he'd stuck it in a hornets nest) all support this. I knew anyway Jacobs was better than people said.. I had him beating Quillin long before they actually fought (see my Aqua account) i also predicted Lee v Quillin would be a draw! Jacobs is the second best MW today. No shame in losing to Pirog & his stock rose against GGG. Come to me for info on MW, i am a master on these elite EE/Soviet fighters LOL I also predicted Kovalev would get robbed versus Ward & would school Hopkins! Don't listen to the bait car rejects like Nay_Sayer.. I am his daddy! I know what's going down! GGG wasnt as dominant hence the moral victory among Jacobs & his fanboys... Advice to the 'brothers'.. Learn to stay on your feet & not get your skulls cracked against these heavy handed Soviets it's getting embarrassing!

I had 114-113 to GGG but those 3 early rounds where a pain to score. GGGs knockdown saved him.
