Nunn showed he was several levels above Toney as a boxer. Roy Jones won 11 rounds, maybe 12, a very easy night for Roy. McCallum at age 35, loser to the best 5 men he fought drew with Toney.

Arguably these three are the best Toney fought at 160-168. Agreed? Now do you want to do a rounds won vs round loss for Toney? Anyone? Hammer meet nail, my point is made. Toney is not master boxer, he has issues with jabbers, our fighter and speed, period. Films show this.

And we have Tiberi ( Should be a loss ) and barely ending Johnson via SD.

What is Toney best non, Non SD or come from behind KO win ( down 6-7 ) rounds. Please list that opponent.

I am looking at how GGG did against top opposition and that is 1-1-1.Toney is better than Jacobs and Canelo.

No. He didn't. What he did was probe Toney has problems with men with quicker feet who didn't come forward, IE: the opposite of GGG.

And Toney set him up, knowingly doing so to a degree where he told his corner that he would KO him that round, and scored a KO over an elite fighter, something which GGG (the puncher in this match up) has never done. Toney was also a complete unknown going to a top three P4P fighters hometown and hit him with such a picturesque KO that makes GGG's KOs over his Lemieux's and Rubio's **** their pants. And? Toney was one in line of many who didn't win three consecutive, no total, minutes vs Roy. GGG wouldn't do any better, if anything he'd do worse.

He lost to four different men, not five, and he beat plenty of fighters better than Tiozzo. It'd also be pertinent to point out that GGG, while fighting in a heavier division, in an era which you said some forty pages ago had more fighters (including GGG) that drain more weight and weigh more on fight night, has never fought at 175. Let alone won a belt there. And both Jones and Kalambay would beat GGG, and definitely beat GGG's best wins.

Should we look at who's beaten David Lemieux? Or Derevyanchenko? Or even Daniel Jacobs? You know full well that losing to Roy Jones and Kalambay much more dignified than losing to Joachim Alcine, Jermall Charlo or even Dmitry Pirog.

You've inspired me to start a new thread when I have the time. No, not everyone has trouble with speed. The good boxers, feared punchers, Rangy fighters, and really good defensive fighters can negate it.

GGG has good footwork and can cut off the ring, that is if you wanted his fights.

I'm only talking about Toney in his prime at 160-168, not the guys in roids above that limit, and I find too often suspect in his prime and laugh at all his fanboy excuses see in they forum,

BS: GGG would not do better than Toney vs Roy. The bar is low, what did Toney win, a grand total of one round? Yep. Roy fought lots at 160-168 who did much better than this. Of Course GGG would do better, he might even win it

No reasons were given to me. FYI Eddie sent me an email on the topic. Don't comment on stuff you don't know. Yes I spoke out against dog fighting.
